I gave up smoking on the 10th Jan this year after 25 years!!!!!!!!!! :0 the money I'm saving ( £170 per month ) is what is paying for our wedding .... I think looking back how horrible I must have looked on many a special days with a fag hanging out my mouth! But I agree, brides DO look the worst with a fag on :/ xx
I smoke at the mo but planning on giving up a week today. I've just started running so hopefully that will stop me putting on weight before the big day. Luckily, my H2B would be over the moon if I quit, and wouldn't give two hoots if I put on 5 stone in the process! x

i am a smoker, but when i am busy i dont feel the need for one. its mainly in the evenings after the kids have gone to bed (i still go outside though). i think i will be to busy to smoke on the day but just incase i am gonna hide some nicotine gum somewhere about my person lol xxx

I'm a secret smoker from my family too. Told them I'd quit so I didn't get the lecture every time I saw them!!! I'm gunna try and quit before my wedding so I don't get the urge to sneak off... I think people will notice if the bride or groom disappear for a few mins!

I smoke and will definitely be smoking on the day. I actually don't want to see anyone smoking in the front of the building, I think it would look tacky everyone congregating by the front entrance, while my evening guests arrive.

Haha, I quit over a year ago, but occasionally still have the odd one when I've had a few to drink (fortunately I don't drink unless I'm out socially, so this doesn't happen often at all), so I can see myself sneaking out for one with h2b (as he still smokes) towards the end of the evening ;p
