hi everyone, i know i may sound thick here but do you give your cake to geusts through the day, or at the reception? i have been asked how many people the cake has to feed and i really have no idea! x

Well this may not be the 'right' way to do it but we are cutting our cake during the evening reception and then giving cake out I think. We were going to have cupcakes as I was going to be making them but after more thought about it I have decided to have one made as I don't really want the stress of making god knows how many cupcakes the day before the wedding! lol. x x x

You generally cut the cake after the wedding breakfast and before the evening reception, but it definitely is up to you and what you would rather do. Some couples give cake out as the dessert to the wedding breakfast instead of paying for a dessert. But i am wondering myself whether to wait until evening guests arrive to do it, but then again, the most important people are generally at the wedding breakfast anyway. Just do what is right to you, every wedding is different and how boring it would be if they were all the same! x
