Both myself and my husband to be have decided on having cupcakes, and a cake on top.

He wants the top cake to be a massive cupcake then have loads of cupcakes coming down, but i like the idea of just one single tier cake on top with the cupcakes coming down.

i was thinking maybe have the one tier cake with the cupcakes and then get the massive cupcake for him by itself what does everyone think?

I'd have it the way you want hun and make him a giant cupcake for the Grooms cake :) then it can be themed completely with things he likes but wont spoil or take away from the actual wedding cake x

My sister and BIL had a massive cup cakes tower with a small single tier cake on top. It was a really stunning cake x
