    Hi All

    I just wondered if anyone out there has ordered a personalised cake topper from MCM Toppers since January this year as im having a little trouble with them. I ordered my topper on 31st January 2014 and as advised it should take 6-8 weeks to arrive. It is now 30th May and i have no topper. I have tried on may occasions to contact them via email, phone and facebook but have only had one reply which has not helped me as they stated i would have the topper the following week, the email was sent from them on the 2nd of May! As my wedding is only 3 weeks away now i am starting to think I will not be getting my topper which I have already paid for. Has anyone or is anyone having the same trouble?

    I don't know if anyone remembers me but I'm the one that had the problem with another cake topper company in 2012 and I just so happen to be TerriL94s big cousin. I did receive my topper eventually but broken and months after I was told it would arrive. Whilst I was waiting I asked other companies if they could make me another one at short notice, from which I got several responses of a "yes we can help" but in the meantime my topper arrived. As it was broken and not quite as it should be (our names and the date of the wedding wern't on it) and I was still in contact with the company that was going to supply me with another topper. Evidently it came about that this particular lady would kindly make me a sign post with theses details on. She was very supportive and helpful and I really appreciated everything she did for me and was willing to do in making me another topper if required. I then had no hesitation in recommending this lady to my cousin as her toppers and work were brilliant and she provided me with an excellent service. However......you know what I'm going to say now don't you?!? The lady I recommended is now the lady that has let my cousin down. I can't honestly believe it. It must be something to do with our family and cake toppers....or just blooming bad luck. There is no reason to not communicate with a customer even if you are having personal issues/problems and I am very angry that I recommended this company to my cousin only to have her let her down too. I just hope that with the 2 1/2 weeks she has left to redeem herself that she gets that topper to my cousin in time for the wedding with a very good apology! If anyone else has used MCM Toppers and has any information can you please get in touch so we can try to resolve this issue. My family are not unreasonable and understand that everyone has problems but this level of customers service yet again is unacceptable.......I should know!!
