I love the way polystyrene and sugar can cause so much drama!!!

And please if you don't like my cake or think I'm barmy don't comment I have 3 weeks till I get married and cannot be bothered with negativity ... Oh and mog... I really can afford a what ever cake I want have a limitless budget and can have what ever I want but do you know what... The ladies on this forum have made me reAlise that a personal wedding means alot more than a cold standardized wedding that a planner has organized from day one... So much so my planner is now my friend and after the wedding I'm going in to business with her as the ideas I have and the talents I have she has pin he'd for many of her weddings in the last 5 years... So I may wear expensive clothes live in a huge house have nice cars and 4 holidays a year and have whatever I want , have a cleaner and choose not to work and to do lunch instead but do u know what here's to silk peers hers to DIY invites heres to DIY cakes and here's to me figuring out money doesn't buy love... Love comes from within and love makes a wedding and I'm making my wedding with love

I think it is you who is making this into a much bigger argument than is required. The other reason to make a cake is to save the expense, let's save the I have everything and can spend money on it. If the truth be told, you're a run of the mill , mediocre person just like the rest of us. You have money yes, but only on a forum where nobody will be bothered to check (quite frankly I'd rather eat my own vomit than check how many clothes you have in your shed). It's good you're making a cake and credit to you. I hope you every success in your business, but bear this in mind, It is very different being a ham handed military cook and a top notch cake maker, the same way that an Aston Martin is a very different machine from a Subaru Imprezza.

No actually its like yes I can afford it but there is more to life than money. Weddings are about heart, soul and love not who can buy the most. How can you compare a wedding to a car? OH and just for your information I've been to crocs and what she says is true. She is one lucky bunny because not only does she have the material things in life she also has a very loving h2b and son and couldn't wish for anything more. I have more respect for her because this wedding isn't all about money. She has put her heart and soul into it all. She could have left someone else to do it for her but she wanted to make it special and personal to them. Anyone can buy a wedding but that doesn't make it special. Self worth and self pride is priceless.
