    Hi everyone

I'm cake tasting tomorrow and I can't help worrying about the weight I've put on since actually getting engaged 4 months ago (8lbs)!

If you are trying to lose weight for the big day did you or will you enjoy the cake tasting sessions?

a few mouths fulls of cake wont make any difference to your weight i had a slice of cake on Wednesday as it was my birthday and i will still manage a loss this week when i weigh in at sw on wednesday just be careful for the rest of the week and it will be fine x

I got the impression it's not just a few mouthfuls of cake though hun. When my sister and BIL went for theirs, I met them hlaf an hour later and they were so high on sugar they must've eaten tonnes of cake to get like that xx

lol but you dont have to have more then a fork full of each to get a taste and really its only one day so even if you eat every slice you should still be fine if you watch what you eat the days after xx

given you have so long left I wouldnt be concerned about a few cake samples....... the calorie increase shouldnt be too disasterous so even if you do gain 1lb then maybe it will come off within a week. I would enjoy the process :)

cant wait to be Mrs Evans less than 3 weeks woooo
    start weight 10st 1.5 lbs
    weight now 8st 4.5 lbs
total loss to date: 24.5 lbs now need to maintain!

    Drat I want cake now!

and no I wouldn't worry, you only have to have a small taste of each cake sample (though i distinctly remember going back for more of the lemon sponge *blush*) but even if you do want to wolf down all thats put in front of you like everyone else has pointed out you have 11 months to lose the weight anyway x

Lol - ModMummy, the lemon is our favourite! And I thought the chocolate would be :)

Hails - I am really jealous right now, cake maker best friend, you must get to try some awsome cakes!

Mmmmmmm, so cake tasting was good .............H2B and I have eaten the equivalent of 3 cupcakes each so not bad (or is that greedy?). I was fairly good though, I didn't eat all the pretty buttercream type icing (it's dairy free because of my allergy).

Just waiting for her now to send us through a quote and we'll then decide.

Funny, H2B was more interested in the cake design than I thought he'd be lol, in the end I let him choose the shape (I wasn't too fussed) xxx

I'm trying to go back to what I was in the New Year, as soon as I got engaged I just started eating out more because everyone wanted to see me and the weight went on. Just need to lose 8lbs and I'll be happy, just so the clothes aren't tight anymore.

I always treated myself but suddenly since January it's got a bit out of hand and now I'm so much more conscious of what I eat. xxx

I am not doing cake tasting as my sister is making our cake so will just leave it to her! Lol
