There's an amazing antiques place in Sheffield that is like an enormous Aladdin's cave :)
I went and got lost in there for an hour today and came out with the most amazing cake stand, big enough for our wedding cake! And for only £8!

Lol where are you now puddles? I love Sheffield. Grew up near here, went to Newcastle for 5 years but gravitated back :) Don't think I'll ever leave now :)
pennieb - I'm sure it'll be fine! And if you don't like it just tell 'em! Most bakers also hire stands so if you don't like it you could get one from whoever is making your cake perhaps? x
