    Hi all, Has anyone got a recipe for milk chocolate cake poppers. I saw these at a wedding farye but the women was so mean she couldnt let us try one.
    I would like to make these as I may use them for my wedding favors.

    There's loads of videos on the tube and you can buy actual pop cookers off the bay (and I think arg0s) xxx

    Plain recipe,

    120g/4oz butter
    150g/5oz caster sugar,
    2 eggs,
    1 tsp vanilla extract,
    180g/6oz self raising flower,
    4 tbsp milk.


    chocolate recipe,

    55g/ 2oz cocoa powder,
    250ml/9fl oz boiling water,
    120g/4 oz unsalted butter,
    200g/7oz light brown sugar,
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract,
    2 eggs beaten,
    200g/ 7 oz self raising flour, 1 tsp baking powder,
    1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda,
    1 pinch of salt.


    coffee recipe,

    2 tsp instant coffee granules,
    1 tbsp boiling water,
    12og/ 4oz butter,
    150g/ 5 oz caster sugar,
    2 eggs,
    180g/6oz self raising flour,
    3 tbsp milk.

    coconut recipe,

    150g/ 5oz butter,
    220g/ 8 oz caster sugar,
    3 eggs,
    120g/ 4oz desiccated coconut,
    225g/ 8oz self raising flour,
    185ml / 6 1/2 fl oz coconut milk.


    I have all the cooking instructions too this is to make the cake that will form the cake pop balls you also have to add frosting once the cake is broken down x

    you break the cake in to a bowl, with your hands crumble the cake into crumbs, add binding mixture ( frosting, buttercream or melted chocolate) until moist and fudge like, check the mixture is pliable. Roll into balls,place on a lined non stick tray and chill until firm. Melt your candy melts (can be any colour). dip the stick in melted chocolate before inserting into cake ball to help adhere them better to the stick. dip in the coating completely covering the ball. let the excess coating drip back into the ball, stand coated pops in a polystyrene block to set x

    I cant seem to find mine anywhere not even an image but the bay of e does have some on there hun x
