My H2B suggested a Ghurka knife. You know the ones where there is a rule that if you remove it from its sheath it has to draw blood? He said you could cut the cake, then draw blood in some freaky Angelina Jolie blood ritual type thing.

I'm scared that he thought of that......

My Paul collects knives and swords (unfortunately for me lol!!) and would be happy for you to borrow one of them if you wish Goff, ones off the top of his head are a M9 Bayonet, a Golok, a Claymore sword and the same knife that was used the Crow film with Brandon Lee by the guy with the dreadlocks. xx

    Thanks ladies.

My dad has a Gurkha knife - he did a tour of duty with 3 Royal Gurkha Rifles in Brunei, but they not really what we want.

I also have a bayonet which was given to me by my brother and is what he had when he was attached to the Royal Marine Commandos so we've been down the military line

I found a FABULOUS arachnid knife online last night, but its 40 quid.... dunno if i wanna spend THAT much!

Spooney tell paul thank you for the very kind offer, but i would be worried it would go missing - not that anyone coming to our wedding is a tea leaf lol, but things get mislaid and i would be worrying about it!
We have a firend who is Pagan and also does re-enactments and she has quite a colelction so we're popping over tomorrow. She is comign the wedding too so we can give it straight back once we've done with it!

    Thanks again ladies x x x
