Or a Market of some sort...or yes...try ebay for rolls of material. If you found some that you liked, all you would have to do, is cut it to size, then maybe machine the edges. Same for the sashes. xx

Mine are foam...Silk are more material, and generally look more real...Foam are as it says in the name...they are foam roses...I think you can only get roses in Foam. What flowers were you looking at? I got all mine for £85...my bridal bouquet alone would cost £120 with real flowers...so I am over the moon xxx

thats fantastic! i was thinking purple roses in a dome shaped boquet for me, and ivory for my bms. i like the ones where u can get small diamontes in each rose as well. and to be honest i dont really want to go back to that florist anyway, i think if u want ur business to do well, and make money, then you will try and get whatever u can for your customers? but she just couldnt be bothered i think!...xx

Well I cheekily wrote to Cadbury's to ask them for some Twirl wrappers to cover the post box for the cards, sadly Twirl's aren't made over here so they sent me dairy milk - not sure if we'll use them, so if anyone wants them let me know!

Our colours are basically a twirl wrapper as it's purple and yellow. Think we've decided on pretty much everything, the main thing left to get is the BM's dresses - so if any of you ladies can help with nice, cheap ish, purple dresses that would be great! :-)

I ordered my cadbury purple bridesmaid dresses yesterday which I'm very excited about! I was getting very worried because the shop that I wanted to get them from (where I got my dress from) closed for 3 weeks for christmas and I live in France and I'm only home for 2 weeks, but they opened especially for my yesterday!! Very relieved that they're sorted. Lottie, my little bridesmaids are 7 and i'm waiting until 2 months before or less to get their dresses, for younger you may want to get them even closer to the time. I also booked my appointment to give notice yesterday which I'm also excited about!

Now that my shade of purple is confirmed and I got a swatch from the fabric shop I can start buying my other purple stuff!!

    Right ladies...

    My minds running circles!!

    Anyone help! lol

Right, did anyone see DTTB last night? After seeing it I am IN LOVE with the alice in wonderland theme!! But I kind of hinted to h2b and he said it was good but ours is fine as it is.

Which got me thinking...(not good)! I am having a Snow White themed hen do, becuase I was umming and arring about what we could all dress up as, and I wanted it to reflect me/my personality. I decided on Snow White because my Mum used to call me it when I was little...my Mum passed away March 2010.

Now I was thinking if I could encorporate Snow White into my wedding slighly without going the whole shabang with the whole theme...as I wouldnt be able to have purple then!

    Any ideas/thoughts??xxx

Well, firstly i would suggest your dress. If you want colour in it or not. Then start thinking of suits and other party members etc what parts of their outfits would be what colours. Google ideas for purple weddings :) Start collecting a album on your pc then slowly you can slowly start to get a real idea of what you want.
