oh how i love the irregular choice shoes. I have to many pairs and agree they are so comfy. Also wearing pink shoes for the wedding although converse in the evening lol.

Hi all!! I'm a newbie on this site and was totally delighted to find this thread on Cadbury's Purple, brilliant hearing all about everyone elses tips and ideas! Exactly what I had hoped to come across...
We are also having Cadbury's Purple Theme, but are taking it a little step further and having a proper Cadbury's themed reception, soo Chocolate covered Wedding Cake, table names will be Cadbury's chocolates...bowls of Mini Heroes on the tables...you get the picture.

u lot r givin me major ideas!!! I've always known i wanted a purple themed wedding my bedroom at my parents is purple!! cadburys table names thats a great idea! im now torn between the places we been on holiday together (as its not many but probably enough tables to name) and this idea, plus havin choc chocs in the middle of the table is cheaper than most centre pieces!!! Think im going to cadbury world 2mora with the parents (mother's a chocoholic!!!)

Hello my fellow purple brides. Made a mock up of my invitations this afternoon (in my albums). It was a lot simpler to do than I thought it would be. Which I am glad of. I just need to get a new printer cartridge so I can print the inserts.
I love those irregular choice shoes! I know they do some similar ones in a pale colour... is it silver? was thinking of getting some but my dress doesn't leave much room for high heels. Reckon I might get away with 2 inches at VERY most! So what height are they? x

Thats a shame Nicoles Mummy. I wanted pink but H2B hates it. We both love purple so it was a good compromise. Plus we both look good with purple as well. So it works well.

Lola May the heesl were about 3 and a half iniches, but very soft and padded and felt comfortable, they do the same show in a cream and silver, they are also lush! Going to have a look at your album now Kimmie. :)

If your having a purple dress why dont you swap it round a bit so you have the colour nd they have the white/ivory with maybe a purple sash, shoes and flowers?? Then you can have ivory flowers?

ahhhhh I like the idea of putting them in ivory. One of my b/m's suggested black dresses with purple sash to match me, but as the groom etc are going to be in black I don't know if it will be too much? xxx

My grooms men are all in black suits and are my bridesmaids will be in black dresses (all with red accessories) so i think it could work if thats what you choose hunni.

Oooh I saw a purple dress in the shop I got mine from. But it was a BIG princess dress which I am really not into. Was a lovely colour though, and it would definitely make a statement!

My colour theme is cadburys purple and black
Any ideas on where to find stuff for the wedding that matches that ill be so gratfull, expecially a wedding dress, im so stuck on choice :-/
PS - No white, ivory or any other traditional colour, including wedding dress at my wedding, I will only have a wedding dress that a traditional colour if matches my colour theme closely, thanks xx
