    HI all,

I'm having a winter wedding and my theme is gold. I don't want any red, just gold to go with the white linen. I'm also having some lovely glittery twigs with candles for the centrepieces so it will look lovely and wintry and cosy.

My problem is the bridesmaid dresses, I don't want to spend a fortune and it's really hard to find a nice gold colour, so I'm going with champagne instead. I've been looking on bay of e at manyn of the buy now dresses but don't know if they'll look really cheap when they arrive.

Does anyone have any experience of these dresses? I'm really struggling with these dresses!!!

    Thanks
    J

There is a China Dresses thread hun which will give you a good idea, there is a lot of mixed reviews. I bought a dress off bay and it was so tacky it was unbelievable, but other ladies have some gorgeous dresses. I bought my bridesmaid dresses off bay but i searched for highstreet dresses such as a big department store with a D and paid £12 for 3 dresses which were £300 in the shops xx

There is a few discussions on here about online dresses so have a search. My only worry with online dresses is the sizes can be odd especially if coming from China and often the fabric is cheaper u are paying less for them. You pay for what you get !

I found my bridesmaid dresses for £35 each and they are amazing, high street dresses and just took plenty of shopping around and keeping options. Try Jungle website too xxx

I bought my bridesmaids dresses from the bay from a chinese seller last week and they do look a bit different from the picture but they're really nice. The only thing with it is obviously not being able to try them on. I bought one of my bridesmaid a size 10 because her bust is bigger but the rest of her would've fit better in an 8. I thought it'd be fine because it was a lace up back but it turns out an 8 would've been much better (even though it says on the site that it's 2 inches smaller than her bust) so just be wary of sizes. They said one thing but you can fit in within 2 inches I'd say x x

I bought mine from a china seller, and they are beautiful dresses and really good quality, but I ordered champagne, and they're more of a peachy colour, luckily I love the colour still lol
The sizes were fine though :) x

Sizing would bother me, as we all know different retailers state that a dress is a 12 or 14 or whatever but sometimes when you get them they are too big or too small etc also you do kinda need to know what styles your girls suit before ordering and trying on dresses in stores really helps.
