are you all buying button holes for all of your day time guests or just the male attendants? ive been told i need to get them for all my day guests and we have 110 ppl in the day so gonna cost a fortune! x

doing exactly the same as dippy donna!! why get them when half the women don't want to wear them as they ruin their outfits and they get thrown within hours
just buy the bridal party and save yourself a fair amount of wonga

The bridal party are having rose button holes, corsage for mil etc etc and for the all the guests i've ordered them all a carnation to wear, gone for ivory so it will suit any outfit.
I thought it was the done thing to buy flowers for all guests.

we are jsut getting them for the ushers and the best man, groom and father of the bride, we cant afford to buy for all the guests, it would be a nightmare x

After reading all these posts i'm going to contact my florist and tell her cancel the order for the guests button holes. I'm not exactly sure of how much they amount to, 70 of them, as i just got the cost for the whole lot from her but every little helps.
She was the one who told me it was the done thing.....hhhmmmmmm i wonder why!!!

I know it can be done, guests having a carnation or something (was always the case when I was a kid) but, this has slowly been phased out as it is so expensive nowadays. Cancelling 70 will save you quite a bit hun xxx
