I love my BM! she is usually a star. soo helpful, especially when it comes to the costs of things with her as a BM.

I only have one problem. She never has time for me anymore.
She is a graduate teacher, a sea cadet leader, and helps with her mum's bridal store and local carnival/beauty queen committee.
But whenever I wanna see her it's like I have to make an appointment, and she claims she sooo busy but is always out with other people.
She has also now been ignoring all my book of face messages for the past 9 days, but she has been online.

I don't want to lose her as a BM, but she needs to know how she behaving. She's not acting like my best friend. I'm being treated like I don't exsist at the moment.

I have sent her a message (again) telling her we need to talk and for her to let me know if she is available very soon to meet. I suggested a meal in a place that is close to both of us. But I wonder if she'll even make the effort for it.

Just really sad as she is like a sister to me and since july has only seen me 3 times! :(

hunny i might be missing the point here but perhaps u might be better messaging her asking if she's ok and if theres anything you can do to help her if she's not,

sometimes people have things goin on inthere life thatthey dont wanna share with others as they dont wanna put a dampener on other peoples things, soz hunny just sayin maybe theresmore 2 it babes. x x x

it sounds like you 2 have driffted apart if shes not confiding in you and telling you not to worry but she may be saying that cos she knows your busy with your wedding plans that she doesnt want to burden you with her problems.

I can understand why you are upset, but it really does sound like she has alot on her plate with work and her other commitments. I would ring her and find out if there is something going on or that she is just really busy and then if you feel that she is avoiding you then you need to decide whether you still want her as a bridesmaid.

Also, if she has a smart phone and has FB on it it could be saying she's online when actually she's not. My phone does that and I get into trouble all the time for it.

she has a blackberry. but i know when she been online cos of status updates and commenting on other peoples posts. just not mine!
lisa, i couldnt rethink having her as a bm as she is my only bm other than my 3 yr old who is flower girl.

gonna try ringing her soon, but i know she'll probably say that everythings fine. just really upset at moment x

She has a heck of a lot on, I'm a student teacher and going mad with all the work so can't imagine how much she has to do. The new term starts next week so she will have a mountain of planning to do for it. She probably goes on fb for a little break now n then like I do but might not have time or too stressed to think about when she could meet up with you. I gave in and met up with people this week and now regretting it as I haven't had enough time for planning. I am now panicking for teaching tomorrow. Give her a couple of weeks to settle back in the school routine and I'm sure she will be up for wedding discussions.

yh i did. she said exactly as i have said she would but i told her i really need to see her soon even in evening so we can discuss hair and make up for wedding. i also toldher how she upset me.

melliecake - i know she is busy with the school stuff, but she has been doing this since july (does say in my first post), so that cant be used as an excuse. she still goes out all the time in the evening with other friends, so i know she is able to come over to me for a couple of hours. i know how stressful it is being a student teacher as i wanted to be a teacher before getting ill. plus she had travelled all the way from kent to portsmouth for a date this weekend after having a few days in magaluf at the beginning of the week.

she promised to come see me.lets hope she does
