PMSFL mrs mac I had a classic moment with that.
my mum and dad told me it's not turnip its swede and guilt tripped me into eating it cause a family member was ill and they said me eating it would make them better (i was a young child lol)

i just went to asda and pmfsl at them only having the Emperor Haggis left aka a 2.3kg haggis..so its quite big but im goin to half it and put the other half in the freezer
got instant mash and got cubed swede *and carrot* to stick in the steamer

Although both myself and hubby are Scottish we are defo letting the side down as Paul cant stand the taste of haggis and I havent found a veggie haggis I like yet so no Burns supper for us tonight.....but I could always dance around in my hubby's kilt along to some ceilidh music and do a toast to my bowl of soup to make up for it! xx
