A few months back, I started a discussion about dressing up for my hen night, but for a while I'v really liked the idea of haveing. Burlesque theme hen night.
Just wondering if any of you lovely ladies have been on a hen night with this theme? If so, how did your friends enjoy it? I just think a few of mine might not feel to comfortable.
I'v seen the corset I want to wear and a fasenater. The pics are in my albums.

Like that idea. Well i'v been looking on a website and you can buy longer skirts to go with the tops. My idea was that i would wear the white corset and the rest of the party would wear a purple one, they would all match. Then it would be up to them to wear what they want on the bottom.

It was a really good night. Em didnt know anything about the hen weekend. We met in manchester and everyone went for burlesque dance lessons (except me, i was 36 weeks pregnant) then all dressed up, we had bought em's outfit for her. Then we went out for a meal and on to the birdcage for a night of drag cabaret and dancing.

I did this for my birthday 3 years ago and it was great. I wore a red corset abd had a beautiful buttoned pencil skirt... Hairdresser put my hair up and I had a gorgeous black feather fascinator ... And red shoes with tiny fishnets :) I was fat then but felt amazing!! We all dressed up and went to a cocktail bar ... It was great! If I hadn't done it already I'd defo consider it for hen xx

    Here comes the bride......

I went on one in september. It was great seeing all the girls in their corsets and feathers. I'm sure the hotel loved us there was feathers everywhere. If you don't want frilly knickers on try some men's trunk boxers (with no hole) just like a pair of hotpants but only £2.50 from primarni.

I organised one for a friend a few years ago, and everyone loved the theme, even her mum dressed up. not full burlesque, but she had a feather bower, was allot of fun. I would really recommend it :) x
