Hi everyone, I've been using the table planner tool as its easy to use and a great way to do the almost impossible job of putting everyone in a position to make them happy! I have found one problem with it though. I'm using round tables for 8 people and you can put people in all the seats and save them except for the top seat of each table, for some reason they just vanish when you save it! I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if any moderators know if the bug is fixable. Also if anyone is new to table planner then make sure you save it regularly! Thanks x

That happens with my top table all the time. One person jumps from there space and on to another table lol. I thought it was just me. x

That's because we designed the top table to be rectangle (which it usually is) and that VIP guests are sitting in their 'usual' seats. Sorry! You'll just need to put them back on each time til we fix it.
Ah but with mine its the person at the top seat (as in at the top part of the circle when looking at the screen) for all the tables. My top table is working fine. They all just go back to the pile of people who need to have their seat allocated. But I'm pleased it's not just me, I did think I was just being stupid for quite a while! x

Lillylou, that's exactly what happens on mine. I fill all the seats around the table, then when I save it the person at the top of the table jumps back to the left of the screen.

All my round tables keep chucking one person on each table. its the top person nearest the top table. A pain in the ar/se if you ask me.
The days are flying by, can't wait :)

I agree that generally the table planner is brilliant and it was so helpful for me. I'm pleased that I'm not the only one who has this problem, is there anything that can be done about it IT man? At the moment I use that table planner and then have to write down the person at the top of each table on paper, which sort of defies the point of the whole thing! Would be great if it could be fixed. Thanks xx
