Hi all I am new to this and it has come in very handy with tips, so I am hoping to get more help on a certain tip!
I am a budget girl and I am looking for something in the South area ie Hampshire, New Forest. We are looking for something on a budget for about 100 guests. Would like something a little different to a hotel but not sure if this is going to be possible.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

I posted this on a thread the other day for a ldy who's looking for something in Southampton/Winchester area. Maybe it would help you too?: You could look at something a little out of the ordinary. I know the Nuffield Theatre (Southampton) is licenced and their food used to be done by a wonderful chef (I worked there a good few years ago now, but she had been there forever, and as far as I know is still there). There's also Horsebridge Station nr Stockbridge that is an old Victorian railway station that has been restored and very picturesque. Again, not sure of their prices, but worth a try maybe? In Winchester, the Guildhall is beautiful. We held an event there a few years ago and I was very impressed with the food and the rooms are very grand, unlike the price tag. Things may have changed as it was about 5 years back, but also may be worth a try. The Holiday Inn's usually do pretty good packages too, so maybe worth asking as there is one is Southampton and also one just outside of Winchester. As you're also looking a bit further a field in the New Forest area too, maybe you could try one of the pubs, perhaps in Lymington or Beaulieu is beautiful and you'd get some wonderful pictures there.
