Thanks I found them... It's funny though I'd already found the woman who can't be named before posting this thread and emailed her she will give me a 10% discount on 7 dresses but still over £500 in total :( so looks like china it is unless I can get the h2b to fork out the cash... Thanks for the help xx

I got my dresses for £35 each.... i found them online in a boutique and then a leading blue supermarket sold the boutique range. It was nice actually being able to buy 1 and try it on and look at the quality before buying 2 more. You have plenty of time so keep an eye on high street shops and see if they go in the sale or not? Or wait until they have Blue Cross days so cheaper and check online for free delivery codes or 10% codes sometimes.

My only reservations with online from abroad is the quality - some girls have had good experience but equally i know some people that have had horrid dresses and very cheap. One friend of mine had to have the whole dress re-made over here costing more than the original dress as measurements were all out plus you will have to pay Tax on them coming to you so may work out expensive.

Like some have said, high street shops you can get some good bargains. I got mine from China and they were cheap really, £50 each and then ended up paying £36 postage and then when they came I had to pay £45 import tax on them

We're finding ours on the bay, you'd be surprised how little some brand new dresses go for!
Good luck though with 7 bridesmaids that's quite a challenge

I bought a dress from a company called DRESSHOPE, they are now calling themselves DRESSNIGHT, a China company, TERRIBLE quality and will not respond to any requests for refund :( I got my 3 dresses in the monsoon Jan sale, reduced from £200 each to £79. They are 100% silk and gorgeous. Good luck!

I'm having 3 BM's and really want Dessy dresses, which are approx £200 each to order through a bridal shop. BUT my American niece is coming to visit us in August so I'm buying them from a US site and having them delivered to my sister-in-law in Boston, who will send them over to Ireland with my niece this summer. I'm getting ALL THREE dresses for less than the price of one dress ordered through a bridal shop.

Got any friends/relatives in the states? If you do you can get dresses delivered to them and have them post the dresses over to you marked as 'gifts', circumventing the customs costs.

My friend got her bridesmaid dresses off ebay for £13 each they were made in china and are stunning, keep searching and you will find a bargin, or you could always ask them to put a little towards their dress if they can wear it again, I bought my own bridesmaid dress for a friends wedding and didnt mind one little bit, if I wasnt bridesmaid I would have probably spent more on an outfit anyway,
