Hi everyone, I'm new on this today but I have just set my wedding date (after two years of engagement) for august this year and am on a budget. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get gorgeous dresses for my bridesmaids that don't cost a lot of money?

Soonmon (put the last 3 letters first) they do a good sale at the end of the year to get rid of each year's stock. If you are getting married in 2 years personally I wouldn't start looking until next year for bridesmaid stuff or even just a few months before the wedding. Me I'm getting married next July and we are going bridesmaid shopping around next February. At the moment I'm just gathering ideas for it. There are reasons for this- I will likely change my mind about them between now and the wedding, bridesmaids will be watching their weight for well over a year rather than just a few months and styles change between seasons.

A girl on here got her from primark!!

I think it depends on what your after. If your wanting something mega fancy but on the cheap it might be best doing an ebay job!

I looked in Debs for the style to suit my UK BM and then I religiously checked the bay every day for listings of it in her size. I was VERY lucky and one came up :)

I got mine from Ebay for around £35 each incl postage. I was lucky tho cos my bridesmaids are all easy sizes and in proportion etc! I was a bridesmaid last August and we got our dresses from Oasis for £60 each. It really depends what you consider cheap as dresses like these can cost anything from £20-£300!!! xx

Why does your fella have the final say on BM dresses? Ok my h2b has told me he wants me in white as I had been having ideas on having a coloured dress, but honestly he won't get a say on the bridesmaids at all. Its what me and the girls choose. He will get a say on his and the gms suits but that's different.

my adult ones were from faze 8 in their sale and the flower girls from debs (ted the baker) also in the sale... shops always seem to have sales on so I think you'll have lots of choice from the high street.

I bought my bmaid dresses from the bay of E, however the seller was only an hour drive so did go to her house and was able to see the dresses and for one of my bridesmaids to try them on.
The lady was lovely :) would recommend her
