I am recently engaged and looking to find a wedding venue. I have never actually been to a wedding so organising one is seeming very overwhelming currently!! We are having a budget wedding and hoping to spend £1000-3000 on the venue depending what is included. We would ideally like to be able to choose our own caterers e.g. BBQ/hog roast so would like a "blank canvas" type wedding venue e.g. pretty barn/farm or village hall if it has grounds and maybe suitable for a marquee.
We live in High Wycombe but are open to places in the surrounding areas e.g. Windsor, Reading, Oxford, Chiltern hills, Aylesbury. If you know of any suitable venues please let me know.

is that your budget overall or just for venue hire? I know in Oxfordshire we really struggled, we ended up with a barn and the hire of that alone for ceremony and reception is about 4k and from what I could find that was cheap, so it depends if that is your venue budget or your overall budget x Hope you find something perfect!
