I've booked my hair and make-up today, found someone who does the hair who has a colleague who does the make-up.

Anyway, I have the choice of brush application or air-brush..... what's the difference? the air-brush costs £10 more, which I don't mind paying, but I honestly don't know what the difference is, would you say it's worth it?

I think I want the air brush it's supposed to be lighter feeling and last for 16 hours
I don't wear foundation so don't want heavy make up

I went for the airbrush. At my trial it ws very light and natural and even after 16 hours still had to scrub it off! Well worth the money!

I've done a google search and looks like air-brush seems better, unless I have a lot of blemishes on the day but I'm sure I can talk to my make-up artist about that :)

I like the idea that it won't rub off on people's clothes

I spoke to my make up artist about this. She said if you get married in the summer, or are likely to get quite hot then air brush is better because sweating won't affect it. She said if you are getting married in winter she doesn't think you need it if you use good quality make up instead. She uses MAC. Based on her advice I have gone for MAC to save a bit of cash, though it doesn't seem too much more. I have heard of brides having to really scrub hard to remove the airbrush though! Lol
