    Hi all...

My H2Bs daughter is going to be a bridesmaid for us when we get wed. She is 14 now and will be 15 when we marry... The thing is she came to our house the other day and had purple hair.... My mouth hit the floor along with my heart.... I told me H"B that she wont be a brides maid if she carries on having purple hair... Am I being horride?

Been with Neil 5 and half years...
    Been Engaged 12 Month
    Hope to be Married soon.
    Life is full of surprises

you have 15 months yet so dont worry. my younger sister had purple hair last year and we kept saying to go back to blonde and the more we asked her they more it stayed purple! dont even mention it until much nearer the time as the chances are it wont be like it! xx

I think your best just waiting to see what colour it is closer to the time. And if it is still a problem take her to get her hair done as a girly activity with you

At that age she will be changing her mind every 5 minutes. Dont worry about it until a month or so before the wedding. Then if its still a crazy colour try using bribery to get her to change it temparily back to a natural colour.

Dont panic just ignore her or tell her you love it and you are thinking about having your hair purple that will soon put her off it lol
I have a 15 year old son and I know if I tell him I like something he is more likely to dislike it himself lol

Sounds like a typical teenager to me, I wouldn't worry. I'm sure she wouldn't turn up at the wedding with really wacky hair!

Can't wait until the day I become Mrs. Johnson :)

my older sister did that when we were younger! she dyed it black, then red, then platinum blonde, then purple, back to red...etc etc. The more mum said she didn't like it, the more she kept dying it! lol. So getting to the point, leave her to it, don't say anything and she'll probably grow out of it xxx

maybe she didnt even think about it?
i was MoH for my dad and his wife in 2004, i was 19, and the week before their wedding i dyed my hair bright red! it wasntr to spiite them at all, just fancied it?! lol but her colour was purple and it clashed terribly!
i tried to get rid of it before the wedding but didnt work!
but just wanted to say that maybe your wedding wasn't at the forefront of her mind when she was dying her hair, and if u still have 15 months im sure she will have got bored of it by then :) xXx
