Well for those of you who remember I posted on here a while ago about my one and only bridesmaid. She told me my dress was horrible and has been stressing me out about what she will and won't wear and how she will and won't have her hair. I arranged to meet her ages ago to sack her, anyway we met and I bottled out, she talked me round and said she would wear the colour. But I was still not happy and since then have seen her posing on social network sites daily with the trout pout etc. decided I needed to speak to her, so today was the day. I spoke to her and she is now no longer my bridesmaid which I am really pleased about. She took it well and will come as a guest. But now I dont have a bridesmaid, I don't want to ask anyone else I have been really put off. I do have my flower girl and my page boy. It feels like such a weight lifted off my mind. Just had to share x x

Well done for being so brave and you clearly handled it very well to still have her as a friend and coming to the wedding! Glad it went well and it will be lovely with the FG and PB - very cute! x

Well done, it takes some bottle to do this. You don't have to have an older bridesmaid, not reason to stick with tradition just for the sake of it!

Yeah I know that's another reason why I decided to get rid of her as she didn't want to come to any dress fittings and she also wont be organising anything for me, e.g the hen night im going to organise myself x x

Great news. Well done for being brave and tackling the situation. A good many would have put up with it and said nothing. I really glad it's worked out well and you are feeling happier about it. xx

Well done for tackling the problem. At least you still have your flower girl and page boy though.
