    Morning Guys

I'm going shopping with my 4 bridesmaids on Saturday and was looking for some tips on how to do it. 3 of them of my sisters and 1 is my best friend. My experience of dress shopping with them previously has been several opinions all spoken over the top of each other in my ear...

How has everyone else done it? Have any of you gone to the shop in advance (on your own for some peace) to look at the dresses and pick out ones you want them to try on? Or have you found that letting them run wild in the shop picking out dresses on the day works best?

They know my colour scheme, but we have no style in mind so I'm worried we're going to waste the whole appointment squabbling about dress styles!?! And I know my sisters are rubbish liars and wouldn't be able to hide it if they didn't like the same dresses as I do haha.

i found bridesmaid dress shopping with too many people really stressful! lots of opinions and no-one was listening to me. so i went back again just me and MOH and she tried on loads of dresses and i knew it on her face when she found the one. then went back and got others to try on the dresses.

if you have a few bridesmaids then what i would do is have an appointment with loads of them trying on lots of dresses - it helps if you have a few Bridesmaids as you can try lots of styles and compare them side by side. but say that you definitely arent making a decision that day. then you will see the kinds of dresses that suit everyone then maybe you can go back with just MOH/CB and narrow it down. they will love all the trying on so you cant really take that away from them but just keep it casual and try not to get stressed out. i almost turned a bit bridezilla lol just remember to keep calm! xx

When I've done this as a bride with my bridesmaids and then as a bridesmaid (MOH), I found it's quite a regimented process. Everyone should try on different desss styles and you decide if you like it on the one wearing it and they say in turn what they think of what they're wearing, if you both like it the next one tries it on and if there is another dress you and another bridesmaid likes they swap, by process of elimination you eventually find a dress they are all happy with but it takes time and calls for them to be disciplined xx

I just took my chief bridesmaid to try on and we've decided based on that! All the others are younger anyway so for me it was a nice way to make my sister feel special! x

Aww mine were amazing, i searched for dresses online first and sent around the styles etc. I'm going for a vintage glamour kind of style and one of BMs found the dress we decided on. The other girls loved it and so I ordered them!

Took all the stress of shopping out of it, we then just had a dinner party at my house instead with lots of wine and giggles to try dress on xx
