    Hi,

Are brides generally paying for all their bridesmaid's outfits ie. dress, shoes, jewellery?

I didnt realise how expensive it would all be and originally intended for my bridesmaids just buying their own shoes. However I am now quiite fussy about what I want them to wear (actually, just what colour I want them to wear - nude). Though I think if I am going to be picky then I should pay.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks x

All ive asked my bridesmaid to do is wear silver strappy heels.
Im paying for their dresses, hair, makeup, & Jewerelly, however the jewerelly is also used as a thank you present. Also im paying for the hair accessories too.

Thanks. I've bought their dresses, they are paying for their hair and make up and I've not really thought about jewellery!! Maybe it'd be nice for me to buy their shoes. The ones I like aren't massively expensive but for 3 it all adds up!! xx

When I was bridesmaid for my friend she paid for everything dress, shoes, accessories and even bought us a little cardigan in case it got cold and let us keep it all after wards as our gift for being apart of the wedding. The dresses and shoes are something we could wear again at a formal party or someone elses wedding so is dead handy .. I was thinking of doing this for my wedding next year x

Think I will pay for everything too I will see I deffo know I have to buy my Sister in Laws dress as she bought mine but I bought my shoes and she paid for me for my hair and make up so will probably pay for everything alongs its not to expensive and let them keep it at the end as a gift for coming to our wedding I like that idea gonna have to take the girls out and get an idea what the would go for what they like going to set them homework to do after they finish there Uni work =D ♥ X

Personally I think if you are telling them what you want, then you should pay for it. If all you are giving them is a colour and you don't mind them wearing different things to each other then you can ask them to pay xxx
