Right, so i am getting married next year and did not want H2B sister as a bridesmaid as she has a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge ego and i knew she would make it about her. Once i caught her stroking a photo of herself saying "pretty Sarah" she didnt know i was behind her. Anyway so i have made her a bm for my h2b. Anyway, we are paying for the wedding ourselves so when i say we have a budget, i mean we have a budget. I found these lovely floral 50's style floral netted dresses at wait for it....Tescos of all places for £12 each. I am having 5 bridesmaids so this helps a great deal. So i take it to Sarah and shes not in so i leave it there at the house. The other bm that has tried it on loves it. Anyway i hadnt heard from Sarah so i text her to ask if she has tried it on. She says

"yeah, its alright but wont go with your dress" (she has only seen a not very well lit mobile photo of it) i then ask if it fits, she says no its gapey at the top (easliy solved, can take in) so then i say, ok i will find more and got no reply. She has also stated she wants her hair curly and a short dress. To be honest if goes with dress i want to keep these ones and i think she is kicking off as its a tescos cheap dress (though doesnt look it) and because she will not be belle of the ball. she is rapidly attempting to lose weight for this big day.

What do i do? i think she wants to upstage me, her ego is so big its ridic

Firstly you need to tell her that you like the dresses and that's the most important thing. If she doesn't like the dress you have chosen then she doesn't have to be a bridesmaid - put the ball in her court.

Although I would think carefully about this because if you give her free reign over what she can wear i.e her just coming as a guest, then you may find she turns up in something attention seeking on purpose.

i hope not :( i mean shes bigger than me by two sizes so im not worried about her being in a tight revealing dress, just the principal of the matter really.

I agree with the other girls, sound like she is being a spoilt brat! If you like the dresses and the other girls are happy then she should like it or lump it! You're the star of this day and it sounds like you are trying to make your girls look pretty so if she complains I'd say she has a choice . . . be a bridesmaid or don't. You've already asked her so you don't have to do things her way! Good luck hun xx

I'm so glad barry's sister's in her 40's, and whether she wants to be or not she's never suggested it, nor has barry. Definitely tell her it's that dress or she's just coming as a guest. 'pretty sarah' lol I've heard it all now x

Thanks guys, i hope it does go with dress now so i can keep them. Going to try it this weekend. Its weird as she really is not all that and she doesnt have men after her at all. (guess cant find anyone to love her more than she does) she is pretty but then so are most girls, but she is quite a big girl and i really dont know where her ego has sprung from. Even angelina Jolie wouldnt stroke her own photo like that im sure.

You have to wonder what planet these people are on lol dont get me wrong, I do keep looking at a pic of myself in my dress but it's because I love the dress, and what it does for my curves lol even then I'm not vocal about it haha x

Might be something wrong with her hun she might be having another personality inside her like that sounds, sound not got to me...she might not even realize that she is that big or so...
u never know whats going on in her mind maybe she see's herself in a different perspective... let her try on the dress again and take a picture it might not suit her or so... (btw wanna see a pic of the dress dont we just love a good bargain???)

Hugs u will be ok hun!!!!xx
