I want to do something like officially ask my bridesmaids to be my bridesmaids.... so i was thinking of getting them a nice card and write it out like an early wedding invite sorta thing and maybe get them a small gift :s
do u think this is a silly idea? and if not what kinda goft could i get them?

No, I was thinking of something similar..a special card for a keepsake. I keep teasing my lil sister..she keeps asking me if I will be having bridesmaid and whether she will be one. I just keep saying 'I haven't decided yet' or 'I don't even know if I'm having any yet' hehe what a horrible sister I am :P Will you be buying them a gift for the day too? Do you know what that will be yet?

I think its a lovely idea. I would say get something personal to them that you know they like. If they have a charm braclet like Pandora then you could get them a special bead each?

Im buying mine a pendant each but the box will be empty and wrapped up for the speeches but they will be wearing them on the day :D

I did that when I asked mine, I bought them the same card from moonpig, but just changed some of the headings (I picked a bride magazine cover one) and then bought them a mini bottle of wine of there colour of choosing and a small box of celebration chocolates...they all loved it :-) and all said yes!! :-) x

girls i have done this already i got the 'diy' card packs but bridesmaid in fancy writitn ( moh or chief bridesmaid 2) then decorated it wiv craft stuff! had 2 weddin dresses on front 2 . got from ebay then inside put a 'mini role' in it etc! they luv them!!!! iw ill post of pic on ehre give me a sec
