Hey girls I've been engaged for 2 years almost and have knows the colour dresses I have wanted since the day we got engaged, with it being our fav colour. The thing is the colour has come into season just recently and was wondering if I should get the dresses even tho I'm not getting married till 2016. My concern is if I don't get them I won't be able to again, but I know two my bridesmaids are on diets so feel bad for asking sizes as women change all the time with dress size. Just not sure how to go about it

You can get the dresses on their current size and do any changes on the size near the wedding...

If you feel you would be happier getting them now get them. Are your girls likely to change shape much? I would suggest getting them bigger as easier to take them in than out, but if they loose too much weight it changes the shape of the dress. It's up to you. What colour is it?

I'm not sure the two that are dieting have been known to as they have put a lot of weight on in last few years and they are losing it. But I don't mean to be disrespectful but you just don't know if they will keep the weight off or not.
My colour is burgandy and the dresses I could get are lovepy. I just don't want to be called bridezilla when I tell them.I would like to order there dress.
Any suggestions on how to word it?

Many of the China sites which people have used in here do all colours and you are likely to get that colour easily from there

I'm fairly sure Burgundy will be available this time next year :)

Burgundy would probably be available next year but if you would feel happier getting them sooner you could always get them in their current sizes and take them in if needed :)

I think you would be fine getting them this time next year and you would still have plenty of time to spare. Burgundy is a colour that appears every autumn/winter and will never go out of fashion, especially for weddings. x

My best friend got married two years ago.....we all wore burgundy so I'm sure you'll be able to get something similar next year :) as you said they may drop sizes or they may loose then gain again so personally I wouldn't risk it :) I wont be getting any of mine until the January (if I can) of 2016.....as currently two of my bridesmaids are pregnant so want to give them plenty of time to shift the baby weight :) xxx

Is there a possibility that by the time of the wedding they may be pregnant or a different size altogether?
I know how you feel about wanting to get the perfect dresses when you see them though xx
