I'm getting married (hopefully) on Mon 29 December this year and I have 5 bridesmaids. I'm going to order them online. When do you think I should start measuring them up and ordering them?

Hi congrats on setting a date :) my personal opinion is its never too early :) but take into consideration how long they will take to make/order and then be delivered :) you never know tho leaving them til a bit later, you may find a sale or something! Even if you order them early and they need altering you could take them to a dress makers :)

I'm having the same dilemma, we are getting married next Feb but I've already started looking at dresses for the BMs (if not for me!) I have a particular colour in mind though and they will be few and far between in the summer. I am ordering online now and have warned them that they will be easier to take in than let out!

Yeahh I want to TRY to avoid having dress alterations if I can as I am on tight budget... and like you said its easier to take in then take out. I have 2 bridesmaids who shall I say "put on weight easily" too so I want to be careful.
