I need to give my bridesmaids an idea of cost for the price of dresses.... I'm thinking long dresses along the lines of this

How much roughly should I be expecting to pay? Even though they are buying the dresses themselves, I'd like a ball park figure so I can let them know...!

It's hard to say cos most sites I've been on just show the styles, there's no prices to go with them unless I ring up, but I don't want a sales pitch I just wanna know prices, I don't want a lengthy convo, maybe I should email... Only prob is when I emailed a possible caterer, they wanted to ring me with prices rather than email....
I just wanna know the price lol

I think it will depend on where you get them from hun....china is always the cheapest. Look on ebay and then compare to shops. Bhs have some nice long ones xxx

When i looked for mine i got an average of between £150-250.

Have you thought about maxi dresses?

I managed to find my 4, royal blue chiffon maxi dresses and for £50 each. (pics in my album) and they look just as nice if not nicer than the ones in the bridal shops. :)

Definitely do some online research as prices can vary from place to place... you can find beautiful bm dresses for like £10 on rainforest and things like that, or £175 RRP in high street stores. Its about looking at a variety of places and taking into account the averages etc.

    xx

Thanks, seen it I'll take a look, I probs won't make a final decision for a few months, but cos the bridesmaids are paying themselves I want to give them time to save for them so when I do get them we can get them straight away x

    Hi Kelbel,
Those dresses in the pictures are Dessy Dresses. They are quite expensive at about £250 each, but quite a few bridal shops will help you make replicas

    good luck

The first dress is the style I'm going for for my girls :D

It really depends on who designed them. If they're from Debenhams or M&S for example they'll be under £100 (or just about) whereas bridal shops may charge over £200. Have a look in the high street.
