I have made my own , and thought it might be an idea to show you how......save lotsa ££££££
I bought 1 metre of Ivory Satin @ 60inches wide, and it made 4 sashes.
I used this pattern I had from another pattern, and extended it by 10 inches.....it is 5inches wide and 30 inches long, and the pointed bit is cut on the fold, so effectively it needs to be 10 inches wide to allow for that.

I then cut the waistbands out, and they measured 30 inches (or whatever your girls waist measurement is) by 5 inches. I want the waistbands to be 2 inches wide and not ruched. 2 inched each side and 2 x half inch seam allowance. I havent got a picture of this yet.

Then I sewed up the sides and the point, (wrong sides together) then turned them inside out, poking my scissors into the point to get a really nice sharp point. Then I ironed it.........this bit is vital. I iron everything in-between sewing because it makes it so much easier.

Now, because the finished waistband width is 2 inches and the tails finished width is 5 inches, I pleated the tails part until it was 2 inches......but you can also use gathering which is equally as nice.....just hand stitch across the 5 inch width and then pull the stitches tight til it measures 2 inches, and stitch down.....

now you have the waistband, and 2 tails which ends have been reduced to 2 inches. slightly open the ends of the waistband, and on one side of it stitch the tail to it.....shiny side to shiny side.....
then with the other part of the waistband....the part that you didn't sew, fold it over to cover the ends of the tail....and hand stitch down.....finished.
I was in such a rush this morning I forgot to take pictures of this bit but I have one more to do so I will add pictures then.
If you look closely at this one, you will see the join I made. this will normally not be seen , its going to be hidden, but the reason you see this is because this sash is made for a 26 inch waist, and has been wrapped around the dummy which has a 32 inch waist. So the join is showing as I cant tie it as tight as it will be tied on the girl. But you can see the pleats/gathers where it goes from the 2 inch waistband to the 5 inch tail.

IF you wanted a ruched waistband.......then I suggest you just make a full 5 inch by 90 inch strip.....(cut on the fold so you will need 10 inches x 90...........thats a 30 inch waist measurement, plus the 2 tail lengths of 30 inches..9you will use your waist measurements plus 2 x 30 inches for tieing the bow and tails) ....This is noce because there are no joins in this style. But as I wanted wide tails and narrow waistband, thats why I did mine the way I did.

One thing to add, I really think that 30 inches is fine for dresses that are short, but I think if you have long dresses then the tails really would look better being longer than that. I think maybe they need to be 60 + inches.....this sounds a lot but remember you are also tying a bow aswell, and it also depends if you want a small bow like mine, or a longer bow....... like this...

You can also see the join in this sash too. I suggest you decide on what kind of bow, how long you want the tails, and then the waist measurements too.....
