Sorry for not being for so long. We've had a bit of a tough week with OHs grandads funeral. Bit of a relief its all over now.
Mrs Wade thats a great amount to be given. What a kind gesture.
Sarah D the flowers look lovely. And thank you for the tip about the favour jars. Ours arrived this week and they're perfect. Now just to hope for a good summer to grow the fruit for the jam making in autumn.
Emmilou I like the first ones and agree I could not justify soending so much on the others. I wonder if you hang on for a bit for the summer sales they might be a little cheaper.

Last month I said at the end of the month id order little bits off the bay like signs etc but had a few unexpected bills so said I'd do it this month but now we need new car!!! Grr there's always something. We got some debts paid off so thought we could start putting away more each month but doesn't look like it!!

Hi Emma I got my shoes, well what we're supposed to be my shoes opened the box and they had the wrong shoes inside! So I've sent them back in sat and there sending me the correct shoes (finger crossed)
I went to the bridal shop on Saturday and tried in my dress again as one of my bridesmaids hadn't seen it I didn't want to take it off again xx

The flowers are so pretty Sarah. Shame about the shoes though, hope they send the rigt ones this time!
I had my make up trial at the weeken. My MIL knew someone and organised it as a make up party so I had some friends with me who got to try the products and buy things too if they wanted. It was great! I can't get over how light the make up felt because I really don't wear much so was worried it would feel so heavy and cakey on my face like it has before when I've had it done in D3bs. But it was fantastic and still looked good 12 hours later when I took it off. Made the most of it by going out for dinner with OH to celebrate a yr since we got engaged. X

I must be the unluckiest girl alive!! Just been cleaning the bathroom and discovered a crack around the plug hole in the bath..... Unfortunately it looks like it's leaking as there is a brown mark on the kitchen ceiling!!! I am so fed up, like I have the money spare to sort this out!! My landlord is popping over tomorrow to see if he can do anything but as it's wear & tear if you like, I doubt he will replace it for nothing.
Looks like my wedding shoes are going back for a refund to pay for a new bath!! Gutted

Oh no thats rubbish news Emmilou! I hope your landlord fixes it. I would question it as wear and tear too because I've never heard of a bath plug cracking before... Sounds like a faulty product and as its a permanent fixture and fitting, he should be the one to replace it, not you. X

Emma I'd say your landlord is definitely responsible for paying for the repairs. It's his house, his bath, his plug hole and his responsibility. It's basically maintaining his house, you don't want to be paying for that! Our landlord paid for our plumbing issues the other month - not a chance in hell I would be paying for that x
