I'm not sure to be honest. If it was up to me I'd do a little something with a few friends. If his mum gets her way I'm guessing there's going to be a party. She's nice enough but I feel it's more an excuse for her family to get together than it being about what I might actually want. I have a very small family (just my mum really) so that's the main reason I wanted to go abroad and do it just the 2 of us. My mum thinks it's great. His mum is failing to hide her dissappointment. She said she would help pay towards the party. I was like......but I don't want a party......why would I be paying anything towards it......I didn't say that. Just thought it!! Lol

Thanks for your comments on the flower girl dress, much appreciated :) I think I'm going to go for it but will need to wait a while before ordering yet as they come in height sizes rather than age... would be one thing buying an aged 2-3 dress but I think it would be a bit of a gamble guessing how tall she will be haha. Only £10 from China with free p+p! xx

My FG will be 3 and a half at the wedding and I have bought her an age 4 dress, based on the size she is now we worked out it might be a little too big but have no problem getting it altered. I just had to have it so I knew all of my dresses were bought lol!
I ordered my wedding ring at the weekend! Fingers crossed it will be second time lucky! It is a little bit different than one I was originally looking at but I love it! It should be in the shop to collect on Thursday!! Exciting! x

Based on average heights for 2 year olds I think she'd need the smallest one, but no point guessing now when I'm not in a hurry. If based on age sizes I'd go for 3 or 2-3 as she will be 2 and a couple of months :)

Oh good. Is the company on the bay? I can't work out how to upload a pic of the dress lol. It is a lovely dress I love the fit and colour but it's very plain. However I'm thinking I could add diamanté brooches to the ends of the straps to bling them up a little

That's lovely! I don't think it's too plain at all! You could give them some nice jewellery that will bling it up a bit but I don't think you need to do anything to the dress itself x
