OH had a great time on his stag. He was wrecked yesterday when he got back we had an early night. I had ordered some hessian and lace bunting and collected if yesterday, really pleased with it. I got one for the cake table saying love and one for top table saying mr&mrs then our surname

Congratulations LadyC! Great news Michelle :) We went to 1k3@ yesterday and bought some big vases for the centres of the tables (only £1 each - bargain!) and have also done quite a bit of the diy things that need to doing. Going to my friends house later to collect some hazel branches to put in the vases (she cut them off her tree and has been drying them out for me for a couple of months). Another friend brought me some bunting for the cake table. It's coming together and feeling nice that my friends are involved in one way or another :)
Oh poop!! OH has finished on the railway and so is on his way home... That means he will see my hair and makeup!! Grrrrrr.....
Is this a big deal or is it just me cos I wanted it to be surprise?

Had an amazing hen party. It was really lovely. We didn't venture far - we went to Arundel in West Sussex, which is about an hours drive from where we are. My sister and SIL had booked us into a lovely hotel. We started by having some food and then everybody went off to their rooms to change. My orders were to get to my sister and SIL's room for 6.30pm. Got there and they had done their room out beautifully - bunting, bottles of proseccos, decorated glasses and even a pin the willy on the man poster!!! We each had to take an envelope, which was either truth, dare or shot. Thankfully I got a shot. We then played a few games in the room and I was given some hen decor to wear, namely L plates and a willy whistle!!! We then left the hotel and went up the road to the Old Jail. They had booked us into a murder mystery evening in the dungeons where the prisoner cells used to be. They were so old and atmospheric.
The murder mystery was also a 3 course meal and was very funny - people shouting out at the actors etc. We even solved whodunnit and won another bottle of Prosecco. Was a great evening and right up my street as not one for clubbing.
Next day we had a mooch around Arundel and then drove up to @mberley Castle where they had hired a private room - was stunning - and we had afternoon tea.
Totally wonderful hen, so much fun and laughter and I want to do it all again - they did me proud :-)

OH just got back from his yesterday he had a great time.
I forgot to say I sent a card off to M@n Utd fc and they sent it back signed by Ry@n G1ggs. OH will be chuffed. Not sure whether to leave it for him on the morning of the wedding or get best man to read it out along with his speech?

Well, I've had my trial... Love the hair. I don't want to take it out!!
Love the make up too, I've asked to do my own mascara and bring my own lipstick as I'm fussy with those but other than that, I love it!

She used eyeliner which I never use and so I was unsure at first but on photos it's brilliant. I'm not 100% sure about airbrush either... But I've got time to decide on that yet!

Unfortunately OH has seen it. He likes it (not an enthusiastic person) lol but the full effect of it will be once I've got my dress on etc....

After a few days away and intermittent internet, we are doing our invites tonight. I printed some off so I could give one to OH Aunt and Uncle in Wales who we stayed with. Some of the wording we are tweaking as apparently the decline phrase sounds like people can't come if they haven't got goods to sell (?) even though it says 'no' so I will amend and print tonight.
OH has bought his suit, a light tan one from D3b3nh@m5. Just need shirt, shoes and tie now.
I've seen some shoes I like from 1rr3gul@r ch0ice, picture in my albums.

Lovely hair and makeup Emma. I didn't like airbrush, it sat in my lines and made me look old. It looked ok in the pics but close up it didn't so I'm not going to have it on my wedding day x

I've had to take my hair down.... I've got a banging headache but I went to the trial with one so hopefully it won't be that bad on the day. I have a sensitive head anyway and I'm not used to people pulling and messing with my hair so I need to make sure I'm loaded with tablets on the day lol

Emm - your hair and make up looks great, you look lovely. I was unsure about eyeliner too as I rarely wear it but I think it makes a lot of difference, plus it makes your make up look more prominent in photos :)

Lol...I dont know Lindsey. Thats the worse thing, im not 100% sure. I cant really pinpoint anything. I think it is because its different to how i normally have it.
I will be doing my mascara so i know that will be thicker and i think i need to change my lipstick (my own) so i think ill be happier then.

Emm have you considered getting lashes put on? My MUA put individual lashes on when I had my make up trial.. I like my eyelashes really thick and dark as well and find that when I have my make up done, I rarely like my eyelashes because they always look too minimal. The lashes were not any longer than my actual eyelashes as I didn't want it to be OTT, but they added a lot of volume x

I think it's getting used to somebody else doing your make-up. I actually ended up looking younger when my MUA had finished my make up - realised that I've gotten into bad habits. My skin looked more dewy as well. Like Flossie , mine added individual eye lashes, which gave more definition. The only thing I wasn't happy with was I like colour in my cheeks and felt I looked a bit washed out, so when she added more in I was happy - might just be a case of slight tweaks.
Emm, I've got low self esteem as well, which hasn't helped my own issues when I saw some of the photos from the hen weekend. I look drab and chubby, despite all of the hard work to get some of the weight off. Also, one of my OH's friends keeps posting stick thin photos of herself looking amazing. I have a feeling she may wear something light coloured to the wedding too...!!!
