I think the invitations are great to make. Anyone can do it which is great. X I have an idea up my sleeve for a decoration but not sure on it yet. Once I have decided and made it I will post a picture xx

Flossie - You could pay for your honeymoon and find a website where guests can pay for activities for you to do whilst there. We have a couple on our gift list like 'entry for 2 to the Eiffel Tower' and 'dinner and entry for 2 at the Moulin Rouge'
I'd really like to have a go at making my invites. Not going to stress over them though. If they don't work they don't work. I'll just buy some.

Hi all. I still haven't decided whether to make or buy invites. If I buy I'd like to keep them under £2 each. We need order to services too so will get costly

That's the type of site we're getting too LadyC :) .. Not sure where we're gettjng materials from .. Had a quick look around todag and was very dissappointed by what pap3rchas3 and th3 w0rk$ had .. Neither had old recycled paperwork and card even though vintage is in fashion ! Got one last shop to try then will have to try the Internet

So, the stag and hen company emailed me back last night and I think it's an ok price to be honest....
Cocktail making 90 minutes Twin room in a 3* hotel exclu. Breakfast Via passes to 3 bars
£93 pp
I think that's quite good to be honest. If you think a night in a Pr3m13r 1nn can cost £60 - £70 for a night and then the other bits.... £20 deposit pp needed and the balance paid 7 weeks ahead so by 16th April.... My birthday! I'll see what everyone thinks - including. Mini bus it's £20 a month from nov til the deadline! Not bad really is it?

I'd agree that sounds like a pretty good deal! Can't get many hotels for cheap on a Saturday so to get the passes and cocktail making included that's pretty good :)

Good idea Danielle..... They provide canapés at the cocktail making but a light dinner would be nice before going to the bars.

He loves it!!! He's always out there vacuuming and cleaning them. He's a bit OCD when it comes to cars and has a bit of a "problem." If we go anywhere, he has to research parking facilities and if they're not good, we take my car!! We did a road trip of France earlier this year in his car and we spent hours on Google street maps looking at parking from all angles!!

To be fair, I've put the list of people forward and decided on where and what we are doing... Once all the deposits are in, I'm leaving the FB group and my sister can deal with the rest..... I like to know that all the important stuff is dealt with and she can sort the fun and games lol

Time is flying especially since hitting that year mark.... Where has the last 3 months gone?
We are doing suits after Xmas and bridesmaid dresses too Jan/Feb.... Rings will be bought when we save up enough lol... I'm at the florist next Saturday so hopefully have a better idea then of cost but it's not an important thing for me to be honest

OH & I go to gala dinners fairly regularly & I always tend to wear fitted or fishtail dresses, so I automatically thought that would be the type of silhouette I'd prefer in a wedding dress. Then my sister made me try a princess dress on at my first dress appointment & it was the one picture out of all the dresses I'd tried that I kept going back to. Then my Mum found this Ronald Joyce one online & as I say the minute I tried it on I was sold! It's funny how your idea's change
