Wow adult only Becci that sounds lovely I'm very jealous haha. Our kids are going home after a week so we will be child free but in a family resort. We're hoping to upgrade to a swim up room and have a bit more of an adult only time. I noticed someone on the last page mentioned hen do's (emmilou maybe) what are you all doing? I have no idea what to do. I don't fancy getting drunk running round town with an L plate and a blow up w***y as it's not my thing x

We're off to Greece (Rhodes) for our honeymoon. 10 nights all inclusive in an 'executive sea view room' which is amazing! We compromised on the location slightly and went all out with the hotel instead. We wanted to go on honeymoon straight after the wedding and our dream honeymoon destinations were all the wrong time of year - a lot of money to pay, especially when the weather wouldn't be guaranteed. We're hoping to have a 'second' honeymoon at some point before we start a family, which is likely to either be Jamaica or the Maldives.

My step cousin and his wife got married in Rhodes - were you looking at the chapel in Lindos? I love it there, it is so so beautiful! If I was to get married abroad I think I would definitely choose there.
I've been to Rhodes 3 times before, once with OH, so we both know we love it there and can't wait. We're getting married 18th June, flying out 22nd June xx

Yep that exactly it. But you have to be in Rhodes 7 days before they'll marry you so it became a logistical nightmare to arrange with kids as we wanted a week on our own so we need up in Cypris which I'm thrilled about. It comes around so quick. June will be here in no time. Are you all ready then??

Cyprus looks beautiful too! We were looking at Cyprus as well for honeymoon but the hotel in Rhodes stole my heart lol, and it's close to Lindos which is my faaaavourite place ever.
Yep will be here before we know it.. get Christmas out the way and it will absolutely fly by I'm sure!
We have the majority of things sorted out, only really little bits left to do now. We were really keen to get all the 'big' things sorted as soon as possible so we no longer had to worry about them. I am a bit of a control freak and a stress head! It's just continuing to save and paying suppliers off now really :)

They do look amazing. The only reason I never really 'warmed' to Mexico is because OH has already been with his ex.. whilst that's not a massive problem (I mean Mexico is quite large lol), it kind of puts me off as he's already shared that special experience with someone else.

Mexico is my absolute favourite place in the whole world, me & oh have been 5/6 times! Stayed at various hotels but by far our favourites are any of the 3l D0rad0 resorts, all adult only & they are gourmet all inclusive, you literally pay for nothing! Pure luxury! Just don't know what to do with our honeymoon at the moment, there are a few things we've got to consider, as we potentially may have a LO to consider by the time the wedding/honeymoon comes along.... I'm starting IVF treatment today!

Our travel agent reccommended there but oh liked the look of the one we picked in the end more so thought as its our first time to Mexico I'm sure any will be fantastic so no point spending a tonne more and I think there was only limited with swim up rooms x

We might not get a honeymoon at this rate if we don't gather up more money lol. If we do go id really like to go adult only, just because if I see other kids I'll miss my son even more and look at those kids enjoying themselves and feel bad that I didn't take LO lol. Doesn't seem to be many adult only options in Cyprus. Greece is still a possibility for us. The hotels are gorgeous there. Just put off by their current situation

I wouldn't be Danielle - if it was a massive issue for tourists then there would be warnings about etc. Tourists are just advised to take enough cash with them and any medication that they know they will need or may need whilst out there. Lots of people are still going at the moment and experiencing no problems whatsoever.

I wouldn't be worried about Greece either Danielle it's perfectly fine to travel to. Several people I know have been this summer & said it was no different out there this year from what they had experienced in the past. Plus if there were any significant changes to the foreign office advise about tourists safety etc out there, holiday companies would have to pull out of that destination xx
The hotel you've chosen in Mexico is gorgeous too Becci, I stayed at one of the sister hotels which is part of the same chain in Fuerteventura in July & it was amazing!
God you can tell I used to be a travel agent, giving all the travel advise, lol!!!! xx

I was a little worried initially as we'd booked our honeymoon before we knew the true extent of the situation they are in, but there is no reason to be worried. Greece has always been a poor country and we have never had any problems the previous times we have been there. They rely on tourism. You could get pick pocketed anywhere you go.

How exciting Stacey!! I wish you the very best of luck. I already have 3 children who OH loves like his own, but he doesn't have any biological children. I had the coil removed on 31st July and if it happens, it happens. He's 45 so we didn't want to waste any time and I really don't mind if I were preggers on my wedding day because I don't drink anyway.
We are going to Paris for 3 nights. Wouldn't want more than that away from my babies.

Future Mrs B - you are not allowed to use company names on the forum as it's regarded as advertising, so you have to write them in a different way to disguise them... for example @sd@ for a well known supermarket!
And thank you - I love them too. They were one of the very first things I bought! I found them online but they were being discontinued so it was hard to find them in stock anywhere in my size. I eventually found a pair from 3l3g@nt st3ps - they had been on the shop floor so showing some signs of wear, but totally unnoticeable once they are on. I got a bargain in the end - the RRP was £210 and I paid £80 xx

Aw thats brill and glad they are making it for you. What is your engagement ring and wedding ring like? I think its cause the band on my engagement ring is a bit thick and its making matching wedding rings up difficult.
Thanks Stacey, OH started off saying he wanted a £55 ring we saw in a high street jewellers, then at the wedding show when we were looking for mine he's found one he loves more for 10 times the price lol but he's got to wear it forever so regardless we need to make sure it's the right one. We are going to the store from the stand at the show.

Mine are 14 and 12. However my son will be 16 when we marry he's asked to give me away. I've had cuff links too made for the men in the party. His say son of the bride. 2 and a half ... Bless I can understand why you don't want to leave him for long, you should still have a few days alone with your hubby but not so that you miss your. Little en too much. Leanne my engagement ring is in my pics. I thought I wanted an offset diamond wedding band but then I seen one that had diamonds the exact same as the ones on the shoulders of my engagement ring and stops at same place, it's a very good match. The diamonds are in the middle.
