Hearing stories of helicopters freaks me out h2b is in them regularly and it scares me lucky he's in thrndanish secror flying and there safety and use of certain types is much different to the UK xx

You all sound like your wedding plans are coming along well.
We're off to a bridal store this week (not the one I got my dress from) to look at bridesmaids dresses. When we went to the wedding fair last weekend they told me about their bridesmaids sale they have on this weekend, really hoping I find my 2 adult bridesmaids a dress. I feel like most things are sorted but starting to worry on the adult bridesmaids dresses and panicking that we won't find any in time. Fingers crossed this weekend will be lucky! Xx
Arrgh major panic at work today. I got a call from HS@muels to say my wedding ring order had been cancelled. I was like what, why, I didn't cancel it. The girl wasn't sure but said it might be because the ring has been discontinued or doesn't come in my tiny size J. She said head office had a size K available and they could have it sent to the shop and then sent away again for resizing at no cost to me. But what a faff! I said ok so she called head office again to confirm and then called me back to say they could do it in a size J but it would take another month so wouldn't be in til end of December. Panic averted but I wish she'd found that out before she called me! Its been such a pain finding a ring that fits with my engagement one so really didn't want to have to start all over again. X

Kirsty I had the same panic few weeks ago. Phone call to say my ring isn't available in my size and has been discontinued. Thankfully the boss rang me back and said the company will make one in my size for me but will take an extra month

Hope you're all well. Looks like you're all cracking on nicely with your wedding planning and purchasing some lovely items.
We're having a little wedding flurry at the moment which is lovely. Just purchased loads of little toys and bubbles etc. to be put into the kids activity packs on the wedding breakfast tables. We booked our honeymoon last night, getting married in May and taking honeymoon at the end of September so booked in my married name as I will be changing my passport straight after the wedding, that felt really strange!! Also, going back to my dress shop today so they can place the order for my dress. Chose it back in June so looking forward to seeing it again.

That's great news Danielle.... My mum wanted to lose wait first but I think that's gone out of the window lol... We are planning on heading into town after Xmas to see if we can get her something but she's quite plain and fussy with clothes so I may have to steer her out of her comfort zone slightly xx

Why do they do this Danielle? I'd much rather she called up with all the information and say there will be a delay rather than me panicking in my office for 5 mins. What if I'd said "oh ok, I'll have the refund then" and had to start looking from scratch instead of saying it was my wedding ring and her trying to find out if theres anything she can do. So annoying but at least its sorted.x

Love the wine glass Mrs Wade. And great about your mjms outfit Danielle. Although I'm a bit surprised your MIL went out and bought hers first, especially in the colour your mum wanted. I thought MOB got first choice on colour etc? My mum is in a kind of latte and cream colour and MIL is in navy. Both look really lovely.
Emmilou try taking your mum to a department store like D3bs or H0use 0f Fr@ser so there are lots of different styles to choose from. My mums is from Ph@se 8 but I'm not sure where MIL got hers from as I wasn't there when she bought it. She was so worried I would be mad at her for buying it without me. I told her not to be daft as she looks great in it. X

My step mum and MIL have their outfits already. We went with MIL to get hers. My mum has an appointment with a dressmaker early December to start designing hers. we have loads of colours going on anyway so I'm not worried about everyone 'going' - anything goes really :)
Step mum has a gold and black dress, MIL has gone for light pastel pink and my mum wants a dusky pink dress.

Well I've taken over organising the hen from my sister. She's got a lot going on as has decided, much to all of our delight, to separate from her partner. Yesterday we went to the solicitor to see what her rights are re the property they share and whether legally she had rights as they have a 3 year old daughter. Sadly as they are not married they will have to sell. He's stripped her of her confidence and has been verbally abusive years towards her. Finally straw came when he called her the f word followed by the c word in front of my niece. Dad wants her out now for safety, but she's worried if she leaves the house, he will change locks. He's already threatened to burn down the fence as she didn't have his dinner ready for him. None of us like him, but so pleased she's seen the light. I said to mum I feel bad roundabout my wedding when her life is so awful at the moment.

Oh your poor sister Lindsey, he sounds like a monster. Glad she has seen the light and has the courage to walk away from him, it can't be easy but she's already taken the hardest step.
Don't feel guilty about your own happiness though. Your wedding will probably give her a reason to stay strong and happy - at least she has something to look forward to :)

I know that feeling Danielle.... I want to prance around the house in my shoes but can't as OH doesn't want to them. He knows nothing really about the wedding.
He knows the colours but not the centrepieces cake or anything.... He doesn't want to know and just wants to see it on the day xx

Aww that's lovely. My OH knows what shoes etc I've got but i showed him when I first bought them so he won't remember now. As for centre pieces he knows we're having fish bowls but doesn't know what we are having in them etc as he wants to see it on the day

I made my OH take a picture of me in my veil so I could send it to my mum as she doesn't live close by. He was a bit worried about seeing it but I said its not the whole outfit and the dress so it didn't matter so much. Plus I can't really take that photo myself of it from the back! X

Well, I'm chasing for deposits for my hen.... I hate doing that but if they want to go they need to pay.
I can't afford to sub them and what they gonna be like when it comes to the final balance!!
Just checked back and it's 3 weeks on Wednesday that I ordered the coat hangers.... Eeeeek, they should be here in 2-3 weeks. I can't wait to see them

He's having his first tattoo covered up with another as he had a car accident where he got threw out of a car on the motorway and it skinned him so it's all faded and it's a constant reminder of what happened

My sister has just text me to ask who are my bridesmaids. I told her and now she's asking loads of questions as to why she isn't. She also text asking does it not bother me everything that has happened with the wedding. Most of you know the things that have happened between my family and OH and it's all because of my sister. I got our bridesmaids dresses on saturday FINALLY!!
The shop had a huge sale so got a good discount on them. The pic is in my photo albums but has been ordered in a light turquoise colour, they're due in january to come to the shop, can't wait to see them in the actual colour. The dress was really flattering on both of them and I think they'll both look fab in them on the day.
Can't believe we're into november now! This month weve got paying off some more to our venue, paying the deposit on the photo booth, starting the invites and going shopping for my 3 child bridesmaids dresses and also hoping to buy my wedding shoes.
What has everyone got planned for november with their weddings? Xx
