Ouch Emmilou that looks painful I have a rather delightful dolphin tattoo I hate (thank you Mark Owen Take That haha) that I'd love removing ... Me and other half are having matching tattoos, were having Siempre Contingo which in Spanish means always with you. Were having it down in outside of our arm near our hand (if that makes sense) What are you and you OH having LadyC?? I know Ive read it I the thread somewhere. It's my 6th tattoo and H2B's first. He keeps asking me if it hurts getting it done. I say not lol
I was awake last night due to being in pain, gave me lots of time to find bridesmaid dresses which I finally found. I really didn't want to pay bridesmaid dress prices and my MOH wanted something she could wear again so hopefully I've ticked those boxes. Tattoos sound painful. I was 18 before I got my ears pierced so a tattoo is not for me. But good luck to those getting them.
We have a wedding car! Yay! Its been causing me such a stress but I saw our best womans mum today who kind of volunteered her husband (they are coming to the wedding anyway) to drive us in his Jag and he has agreed. Super happy. Now just to sort a mini bus for the bridesmakd but they said they might know a taxi driver who could help. X

FINALLY, we got the quote through for the catering however it's wrong.... Grrrrrrr.
We told them incorrect numbers of adults/children to which I corrected via e-mail on the 29/9 to the girl who has sent the quote. She has used the old numbers to send this quote..... Needless to say, I took pleasure in telling her. Why?? She told me she had informed me that she was on holiday for a week and sent an e-mail en mass to clients regarding this. She hadn't to me or my server blocked it..... She was quite patronising when telling me to check my Spam folder in future!!!
Anyway, I have worked out the correct figure and let her know. At least I have got an accurate figure which is £300 less than anticipated. We can seriously start throwing money at this now and hopefully get it paid off sooner rather than later xx

OH had a brilliant idea last night. I had been talking about how LO one and I would stay at home the night before the wedding and then I'd go over to his mums to collect everyone en route to the venue. Not thinking about where OH would be staying lol....
He can't stay at the best mans cos he gas a family of 4 and his wife doesn't drive so that would be difficult so OH mentioned that he and his LO would spend the night at the local hotel which is literally 10 minutes away from the venue and a great price of £69 for a superior double room.
We will also pay for the best man and his wife and children to have a family room so that the boys can get ready together. Again only £69 for them...... The photographer can do the men getting ready then xxx excellent plan OH xxx it's not like him to have input but he did good lol

Looking for bridesmaid dresses for my sister online and looked on the website of my local bridal store in town where I live. I did go there, but couldn't find any dresses in there that I liked, so ended up finding my dress in a shop a good 45 minutes away. Anyway, they've got new stock in and just seen that they now have MY dresss in. So frustrating as would have been so much easier to have all of my alterations on my doorstep, but never mind!!!

Afternoon everyone. It's lovely when H2B have great ideas, not contributing much isn't a problem as long as when they do it's agood en and it sound lime your H2B had a great idea Emma plus you LO gets some daddy time too.
Loving those glasses Emma wish I could do something like that but I can't take them with me as they'd smash... I have ordered glass rings though. I love the little detais like that.
We've decided to pay someone to dress our UK reception as it's looking like. I may need an operation on my back and I'm not sure I'll be up to planning and buying all the stuff we'll need and while I hope I will be recovered by my reception in the months leading up to I won't have the physical and emotional strength to cope with it. I'm a bit sad as I love picking out all the bits and searching for things but my H2B is insisting that it will be too much.... Soooo I will be enjoying seeing pictures of all your finds and decorations all the more now :-)

Wow ladies you all seem very busy planning your big day. Cant believe its getting so close now. Almost got everything ready and my actual dress came in last Saturday was still so in love with it. Invitations are almost finalised and will go out after Xmas. Need to buy my bridesmaids their shoes and matching jewellery. We are going to purchase our wedding rings in the new year as I am losing weight and don't want to have to keep sending rings back to be resized if we can help it. Apart from that all deposits paid and just need to wait until we can pay it all off......eeek! Then hair and make up trials also in the new year. Still remaining quite calm.....

I couldn't deal with a surprise hen at all. I handed over the reins to my bridesmaids for a couple of weeks but they kept threatening to take me to Marbs or somewhere abroad which I would absolutely hate. They were only joking but there was a small part of me that thought omg, what if they weren't! They were actually planning to go to Ireland which would have been really nice but was really pricey and out of some of their price ranges, including mine! So I stepped back in and said I needed to be involved with the planning. In the end I chose where we're going.

We're staying in a cottage in Poole for 2 nights. Not sure what we will be doing there yet but close to beaches, restaurants, pubs/clubs etc. and we have a private terrace at the cottage with a built in BBQ so hopefully we can make some use of that. Also close to Bournemouth so all the same facilities there.... By the time we divided the cost between the 5 of us it worked out as only £65ish per person which I thought was fab - means more spending money for when we are actually there. I found searching rentals privately rather than through specific hen companies resulted in much cheaper options!!
The murder mystery is a great idea - would have been great fun! Are you happy going abroad? It sounds like you were a bit out voted on your own hen?! Prague will be amazing though and I am sure you will have a fab time.

I think it would have been fine had I not known that one my bms couldn't afford what they were originally planning to do and if they didn't keep winding me up saying we were going to Marbella or somewhere like that lol. I did want it to a surprise hence handing over the reins to them in the first place, but in the end I just found it a lot less stressful to just plan it myself!
