My plan for underwear is comfy. Maybe if I can combine comfy and sexy and get some knickers with lace or something round the edges but def not a thong. I'm thinking I can always go comfy for the day and then change into something sexier for the night. Basques are so pretty Lady C but I'd be worried I'd get too hot. I did buy a pretty silk and lace shorts/cami set in the D3bs sale last week to sleep in and for the honeymoon (I don't really like sleeping without something on lol). X

I might get changed later too but OH would still see the massive underwear when zipping me out of my dress haha

Leanne - regarding the favour jars, we are using baby food jars so they are not costing us a penny! If you know anyone with a baby it is worth asking them to keep the jars aside for you and you can just soak the labels off. We have bought labels to go on the front saying "love is sweet enjoy our treat", material tops to go over the lids, twine to tie them up and we're going to put tags on as well which will double up as place names. All in all very cheap - most expensive bit will be the sweeties I imagine which we won't be buying until a few weeks before xx

My next favourite at the moment is £699, but ideally I'm thinking no more than £500. But if it means sacrificing quality then I'm not sure if the saving is worth it...

I think I'd still like some degree of professionalism Sarah.. even if someone who just does it as a second job/hobby. Like my dad does photography in addition to his main job, but has experienced the wedding industry xx

The cheapest I've found so far is £410 but I am not sure about them. They seem quite old fashioned whereas I'm after something more modern... Still waiting to hear back from someone who does it on the side, hoping he would be more affordable also but still yet to see any of his work.
The one at £699 is 100% professional so I was actually quite surprised his price is quite low compared to some of the other professional companies. He has filmed at our venue too so it was really nice being able to see a sample video to see how it might look for us xx

I know what you mean Flossie, I was actually quiet surprised when I got the price of ours as I think I expected it to be more, he really is brilliant! there are other people here who do it for a lot less but the quality isn't there or its just for a short part of the day xx

Lovely cake too Lady C - ooh it's all beginning to come together!
Lovely dresses too ladies. I wouldn't say any of you need to lose anything, but then I know it's all about how you feel in yourself! I want to shift about 6 pounds ahead of the big day. Need to find the motivation to do some exercise - psychologically always feel so much better afterwards!
On the Bridget (underwear) front, I was thinking of those suck everything in jobs, but remember how much of a nightmare my sister in law had when she wore one on her wedding day - the issue of going to the toilet was rather interesting on all accounts, but will probably go with something along those lines anyway as want to look as slim as I possibly can and would feel happier knowing I've got something that helps!!!

That's a good idea Sarah! I used to have a leotard like that, never thought of the possibility of having underwear like that though!
I'm probably just going to get a nice pair of frenchies to wear during the day. I can't wear a bra at all with my dress anyway so it's not like I can wear a proper bridal set, and I can't wear granny pants or anything as the back of my dress is lacey right down the bottom of my back! I will buy something more "glam" for the wedding night though that I can get changed into xx

Lady C the cars are lovely, you are doing well with your planning. Ours is going good, got most of the big things ordered. Went yday with OH, his brother and our LO to try on suits. We weren't planning on ordering them yet however they are offering 50% off as we found them at the wedding fair, so couldn't say no, especially since we need 10 suits.
Love both your dresses ladies. When did you go dress shopping? Im going the end of Nov which is about 13 months before the wedding but my step mum thinks I am going too early??
Thanks for the jar tips, I have just this morning found a good deal on wedding favours. I am a huge y4nk33 candle fan and have found little wedding day candles personalised for £1.30 each so think we are going to go with those.
Our videographer is charging £800 and that is to stay untill quarter past midnight (as we are having a nye wedding) I was shocked as the other quotes were between £1500-£2000 which was way out of budget. From viewing his work he seems to have a good standard. Did you like the example videos from the cheaper guy Flossie?

I've seen them a few places, I don't plan to wear hold me in pants as I felt comfortable in my dress and I plan to loose a few pounds and tone by then too, I've also seen a suck me in cami top its strapless so its almost just a band for the tummy but no mucking about with awkward pants or poppers xx
