Picked up my wedding ring on Thursday. Been paying it off since Feb so it's a lovely feeling knowing it's all paid. OH paid for it out of his own money so it didn't have to come out of the budget :)

Well, that's our third wedding of the year and just to get Christmas out of the way and it's our turn!!
The bar prices at the hotel we were at yesterday were astonishing!! A single Southern comfort, lime and lemonade and a double JD and Coke....£16.80!!!!! WTF,!
That's the first thing I did at our wedding venue, check the bar price. Luckily it's £3 across the board, unless you have double spirits then they charge more but it's such a shame when you have a wonderful day at a stunning venue but what sticks in your mind is the price of the bar..... Shocking x

I'm not sure what to do about transport.... I'm driving to the venue as I'm getting ready there so I'll get there about 8am but not sure how OH and best will get there cos best mans wife doesn't drive and they have 2 children.

I was meant to be having my 3 sisters and my so called best friend as bridesmaids originally Danielle but then my 'best friend' text mr to say her and her daughter aren't going to be bridesmaid or flowergirl and not spoke to me since and my sister has caused a lot of problems so OH doesn't want her as part of the wedding party and my other sisters aren't interested so not sure if they are yet. Families eh?

On Saturday I was talking to a friends uncle who we both no very well, he is a chauffeur driver and he asked who I was using for my wedding cars, we haven't booked any cars as getting ready at the venue and the wedding coordinator had said she would collect us from the lodge, so he has kindly offered to drive me from the lodge to the venue free of charge! its so kind of him to do that im over the moon xx

Just tried to have a quick catch up with everything, everyone has been busy!
Apart from my dress fitting on Saturday I haven't done much wedding stuff lately as I have been in training and started my new job. Back to it this week though, yesterday I ordered my bridesmaid glitter wine glasses and FG tumbler glass. I am trying to get all of the BM's gift bag presents sorted so that they are one less thing to worry about, then I don't have much left at all!
I tried a veil on with my dress on Saturday and now I know I 100% want a veil and the exact one I want, the lady told me the exact colour and size so I am going to have a look online for one. Also, I need to get different shoes as the 2 pairs I have got don't really go with my dress!! Looking for some silver sparkly flats now maybe with some jewels or something on the front! Busy busy busy!

Bridesmaid stress aghhhhhhh!!!!!
The dresses I wanted in M0ns00n have gone out of stock in the sizes I need. I contacted M0ns00n who said as it's current stock it's likely they will come in again but not gauranteed however there are some in stores which they could get for me. So I sent the girls a group message telling them this. One said order it the others ignored it and spoke about something else. If I want these dresses I need to order them. I wanted to wait as long as possible incase my sis gets pregnant but how long can I wait? I'm also still worried about the possibility of someone wearing it or people recognising it from M0ns00n. I had planned to go to another bridal store to have another look. Now I don't no what to do

I think just go for it too. It will be one massive weight off your shoulders once they're ordered and you don't have to worry about them anymore! I'd be tempted to get your bridesmaid who may fall pregnant a 12/14 - it will be easier to alter to make smaller rather than alter to make bigger.

Awh I love that guestbook .. I think our photobooth provides one though and we were thinking of doing one of the photo frame ideas where you have wooden hearts that they write messages on and drop them in so its like a mosaic of wedding well wishes that you can hang :)

Well just tried to do our seating plan so we've got a rough idea and OH has given up already and said we will do it at the weekend. He said he doesn't want my mum and dad to be on top table so I just said either my mum and dad are on it aswell as his parents or none at all. Simple!

We're just having me, hubby2be and our 3 kids on top table else it would end up huuggee! lol. my parents are both remarried so that's 4 then his dad 5, plus us 5 as my daughter is being christened so she needs to be there and cant leave the other 2 out, then IF we have best man and moh theres 12! then my little brother is autistic so hed need to be with my dad and step mum as no one else knows how to deal with him properly... it gets ridiculous lol!
