My OH will not forgive me for saying this but he has been known to cry at things on the telly hahah, he is quite an emotional person. I definitely think he will cry when he sees me, he says he will too. He says he has been having a recurring dream of seeing me walking down the aisle and I blow him away so much he has to sit down. Found that really sweet! xx

Finally got round to booking an appointment with the florist today. Go on the 24th October @ 11am. That's the last thing to book really now until after Xmas when I need to get a wriggle on with the suits, BMs dresses, rings and gifts.
Reading your threads through today has made me realise I'm not alone with regards to time flying, emotions and how 'real' things are starting to feel..... It won't be long ladies and it will be our year. I can't wait to see everyone's updates of 'Now married' or 'We did it!' Next year. I don't know about you guys but I've built visions in my head of how people's days will look and hopefully, if you share, we might just get a real look after the day xx

Aww I'll definately be back after the wedding to see how everyone is getting on.
Were same as you Emma. After Xmas we have got rings, suits, gifts, chair covers (if I don't do it before Xmas) and paying everyone off. Can't wait to be able to say today we get married, no stress (hopefully) and everything paid in full. Will be such a nice feeling x

You can still have the countdown bit (the grey text) Leanne but you won't be able to have a ticker unless you're a PU. I think you need to unrestrict your profile and it should come up as well as your hearts xx

'I'm at 8 months too and at the moment all I am stressing and thinking about is getting my dress sorted - apparently I've left it a bit on the late side according to some shops, so taking tomorrow as annual leave to try and sort. I can't think about anything else until I've done that. We didn't get engaged until the end of June so haven't had as long to plan things!

All stores are different. The ones I've been to have said to order a year in advance and even told me to order my bm dresses a year in advance which others don't seem to have been told ... I'm sure you'll find somewhere who can order fast delivery even at a little extra cost. Or you might find something in a sample sale then the timing doesn't matter one little bit. Do you have a bridal outlet store near you at all ? They have thousands of dresses you can take same day

I always thought you should ideally order a year in advance but the store where I've ordered my dress from said it should take 4-5 months. You will have plenty of time, but I would look to get it sorted as soon as poss just for your own peace of mind xx

I've not done any gifts yet but have an idea of what I'm getting bms, I've got their hangers ordered then I'm thinking personalised pocket mirror to go with survival kit .. Then personalised champagne glass and glass plaque for the thank you gifts

We're doing the same Becci. At the moment it's better off in the ISA than in the bank account of a supplier. But I don't want to paying out loads of money all at the same time in the lead up to the wedding so I am going to start paying suppliers in the new year month by month :)

My heart will break when it all comes out my account lol I'm mainly paying because as oh keeps reminding me I earn 12000 more than him a year ... Change the record but hey what else would I spend it on! Just frustrating sometimes when he tries to call the shots on the wedding when it's my dosh and quite happily chooses the most expensive options. Men!

Lovely gifts. The shop where we got wedding rings allow 10% off bridal party gifts so think I'm gonna get the girls a nice necklace.
For those of you who have got hangers, did you just get them for yourself and bridesmaids or did use get your mum ones too? I think I'm gonna order the ones MrsMW got off the bay but would like to stick some embellishments on, what could I use?
