This time next year is a week until its our day! when I think how fast this last year has gone it will be here in no time xx

It really is surreal that its going to be our wedding day at the end of all this planning! I wonder if it will just hit all of us the day before! lol xx

He was a bit embarrassed when he told me but I thought it was sweet! I asked him out of interest what my dress was like in his dream and bizarrely he seems to be imagining it pretty spot on!!! xx

I think it would be a nice tradition for grooms to go to the bridal shops to pick what they would like to see us in and see what the difference is

Finally got round to booking an appointment with the florist today. Go on the 24th October @ 11am. That's the last thing to book really now until after Xmas when I need to get a wriggle on with the suits, BMs dresses, rings and gifts.

Reading your threads through today has made me realise I'm not alone with regards to time flying, emotions and how 'real' things are starting to feel..... It won't be long ladies and it will be our year. I can't wait to see everyone's updates of 'Now married' or 'We did it!' Next year. I don't know about you guys but I've built visions in my head of how people's days will look and hopefully, if you share, we might just get a real look after the day xx

Good luck with your florist appointment. I've got to go back to mine after Mother's Day to pick exactly what I want as she put a dew bouquets together when we went. So she will need numbers and colours of what we want x

'I'm at 8 months too and at the moment all I am stressing and thinking about is getting my dress sorted - apparently I've left it a bit on the late side according to some shops, so taking tomorrow as annual leave to try and sort. I can't think about anything else until I've done that. We didn't get engaged until the end of June so haven't had as long to plan things!

I always thought you should ideally order a year in advance but the store where I've ordered my dress from said it should take 4-5 months. You will have plenty of time, but I would look to get it sorted as soon as poss just for your own peace of mind xx

I've not done any gifts yet but have an idea of what I'm getting bms, I've got their hangers ordered then I'm thinking personalised pocket mirror to go with survival kit .. Then personalised champagne glass and glass plaque for the thank you gifts

I'm tok stingey for that too haha! I have the money for the suppliers but I'm hoarding it until last minute to get my interest .. How terrible is that! I've been buying little bits and pieces but really don't know what to get oh really

Lovely gifts. The shop where we got wedding rings allow 10% off bridal party gifts so think I'm gonna get the girls a nice necklace.

For those of you who have got hangers, did you just get them for yourself and bridesmaids or did use get your mum ones too? I think I'm gonna order the ones MrsMW got off the bay but would like to stick some embellishments on, what could I use?
