    Def the way forward lol

My sis is texting me about who to invite to my hen. Who knew it would be so hard to decide. I have a few cousins I was close to growing up and still get on well with but never see. Don't no whether to ask them or not. Then friends but not sure if they will all go

    I've thought this too.

There's a few girls I get on with at LO nursery that are a good laugh and they'd only be invited to the evening do.

It's hard making all these decisions lol

I'm sure it would be OK..... End of the day it's our hen do and I guess we can invite who we want.

I'd never assume regardless of who, what and where I went that I'd be invited to an all day wedding so I suppose I should think along them lines too xx

I think I'm going to have comfy pants on the day as I won't need a bra and then get something prettier to change into. I don't want to be rearranging a thong all day and let's be honest, if I inevitably need a BM to help me go to the loo, that is the last thing they need to see! X

We're off bridesmaids shopping saturday, can't wait to see the styles they have, the shop did say they'd do a deal on the dresses as we're having the suits from them to and I've bought my dress from them, will just have to wait and see what kind of deal they offer.

As far as the hen do I'm still trying to decide what to do for it, im considering either a cocktail class or they do party boats that go up the canal in birmingham, the site have great reviews on for them so I'm quite tempted by that. Is anyone doing a long day for their hen? I'm tempted to do, lunch first with everyone then either cocktail class/party boat, meal and then a night out. I'm just unsure of how we'd get ready for the night do unless we get a hotel room but then thats added cost plus I want to invite around 20 so we'll see. Anyone else got their hen do sorted yet? Xx

My dress is too low as well and the bridal shop have already said they need to put chicken fillets in my dress for the day because my boobs are so damn small I look like a 10 year old!!!

My bridesmaid has text saying that it's a comment made by one of the other bridesmaids in the changing room on Saturday and is weight related. She said she doesn't think she meant it to be mean but it made her feel really uncomfortable and she doesn't want to put herself through that again. The culprit brkdesmaid is upset that my attempting drop out bridesmaid doesn't want to do it anymore so I'm hoping I can talk her back into it and make her feel comfortable again! She's gorgeous and her curves are amazing she looks fantastic in the dress too.

She said she didn't want to tell me because she was scared id just axe culprit bridesmaid because I've already said that I want her there more than culprit and she didn't want to cause anymore problems ...

I've promised her I won't do that but uoset bm is at work at the moment and it was upsetting her discussing it so I've told her to text me or ring me after work ... I'm determined to work through this!

I'm going to wear comfy pants. They hold me in and are like shorts so my thighs don't rub together.
I'm also inviting evening guests to my hen as well as day guests. I don't think it really matters these days xx

I hope it works out for you Becci. It can be difficult when people are conscious about their bodies and a small comment can be very upsetting.

We are nearly there with my hen do. I said I wanted a spa day and (after a little push) we think we are going to Oxford in a hotel. We found a package for full use of spa facilities, a 60 min treatment, lunch, 3 course dinner, pre dinner cocktails and canapés, girls night in dad's and nibbles and B&B for £139 each which I think is an amazing price for all that! Normally it's that to get into a spa and get one treatment never mind all the food and hotel stay. X

That is a fab price. My hen do is a secret but I'd say it will consist of meeting up getting bus to wherever we are going, doing some kind of activity, having dinner then hitting the pubs/clubs and staying over.

Is everyone inviting their mum and MIL to hen party? I don't no what to do. My mum isn't fussed she's 66 so not really her scene. My MIL on the other hand would prob be annoyed if I didn't invite her

Hi everyone, not been on for a few days so trying to catch up with everyone's posts. Sorry to hear some are having bridesmaid troubles. Hope you can sort everything out.

I have no idea where I am going on my hen weekend, my MOH and bridesmaids are organising the whole thing, in theory it was to take stress of me planning an additional thing but I am actually feeling nervous lol.

We went to a wedding fair at the weekend, tried on some wedding rings but I didn't love any, I am a bit worried. Any one else have a princess cut engagement ring, any suggestions on styles? x

I've spoken to her and managed to talk her back in and said we'll go for a night out all of us next month and make sure she doesn't feel uncomfortable again but if not she's back in - relieved is not the word!

I didn't even think of the implications of having bridesmaids that don't really know each other that well but I'm glad it's sorted now and everyone's happy!

    That's good becci

I wouldn't be inviting any aunts etc so would be silly to have a separate hen for mum and mil. Wouldn't be fair to ask my sisters and SIL to fork out for another night either. Would be good for the mums if it was pamper hen but I think it's gonna b party hen lol

My mum died when I was little, so I am quite close to my aunts as well as my step mum but my hen weekend will not at all be their thing or MIL lol so my step mum is throwing me a little hen party at our family home so it won't cost much and means bridesmaids etc aren't having to fork out for two. Its just whatever works for you I guess hun.

Glad you managed to work it out Becci.

Do either of you girls have wedding insurance? I have asked before about it but I just can't make up my mind about it.

Thats a great deal for all that Kirsty! Bet you can't wait!

Once the bridesmaids dresses are sorted the hen/stag do preparation is the next thing on our list I think, that plus the rings.

I can't believe we're nearly into october! 3 more months and then we'll all be into our year of getting married eek. Exciting but scary making sure everythings sorted and prepared in time for it! Xx
