I was travelling along a county road at 60 mph in my conpany car with the adaptive cruise control set (which keeps the car at set speed unless the sensor on the front of the car identifies another car in front of you and it will adapt its speed to the object in front)

Unbeknown to me the car has a sixth sense and can also sense ghosts so it decided that an emergency stop was absolutely the best course of action for the occasion. I was too busy trying to deactivate the cruise control to cut the emergency stop function short which didn't work so started to panic at this point and tried to accelerate away and it didn't really move; then as an after thought I was like oh god is there a car behind!?

Literally the moment I turned my head to check the rear view mirror the 4x4 pickup thing behind me walloped straight into the back of my car and he must have been doing about 50mph because he said he saw my brake lights but assumed I was just slowing to 40mph like the speed limit sign ahead indicated and noticed it had stopped completely to late he tried pressing the brake but just couldn't stop in time bless him.

Luckily there was a fuel station literally 300 yards ahead so I didn't get out on the main road I pulled into the fuel station and he followed but I was so scared at what he was going to say to me .. I thought he was going to go beserk for me emergency stopping on the a66 so when I established he has ok and just in shock I told him it had the sensor device so luckily he was very understanding!

How bad is your pain still mmw2b You're two months along the line from me and similar impacts really .. I've been given tramadol and diazepam which knock me for six but they are helping manage the pain and let me get some decent sleep at last!

I'm looking at the head pieces just now. I think I've decided on the hairstyle I want but not 100% certain on the type of headpiece... I am thinking this sort of style with a slide/comb hair piece at the top of the chignon. They do have some lovely ones!!

    That's a lovely hairstyle Flossie.

I have good and bad days Becci. If I've done a lot you can guarantee I can't move the next day. I couldn't puck my son up for about a month afterwards. Couldn't bend to pick him up out his cot or the bath it was horrible, I can do more now though. I couldn't push his pushchair either which I can now do. Just had to take things easy. Every day I was in tears not being able to do anything. Hope the pain eases for you and you quickly get back to your old self x

And I've started to have a few good days mmw2b but I'm barely doing anything ... Not even walking the dog.. Cleaning the house is the best I can do.. I don't want to run before I can walk now .. I tried doing a 10km race o was entered into 3 weeks after and after 3k I was in agony. The next day I couldn't walk because my hips were so bad but Mrs physio said it was all in my lower back and radiating to feel like it was my hips .. I swear she's a witch because next day I was hobbling about again!

That hairstyle is lovely Flossie. I'm gonna wear my hair down but can't decide on a style.

MrsMW absolutely no way are you going home the night of your wedding that's like a crime lol. Does your venue not have bedrooms? What about a personalised teddy for your flower girl. I know she will be 6 but would still be a lovely keepsake. I got my son a first birthday one off Ce1ebr@tion be@rs on book face. Think she has a website too. I'm gonna get him a thank you for being our page boy one too

What are those of you who have pets doing with them around the wedding?

I have a cat and he's a house cat so I'm really worried about him getting out with all of the comings and goings. No doubt people will be staying at ours so I can't just let him use the spare room for some peace.

He's never been in the cattery as my Mam normally looks after him in our house when we are away but I think I might put him in one for a couple of nights. At least then I know he is safe, I'd be devastated if he got out and was hurt.

Oscar will have to go into kennels. Everyone who could normally look after him will be at the wedding themselves lol. Our venue is actually pet friendly and have had OH begging to let him come... but definitely not!! MIL has 2 dogs, I expect her friend will look after them.. hoping she offers to look after Oscar too whilst she's at it but no biggie if not, kennels are actually a lot cheaper than I had anticipated. My auntie's doggy will need somewhere to go too so might put them in together as they get on really well and it might be more comforting knowing they are familiar with each other xx

A spa would be amazing for the next day! I was thinking of planning a spa day for the next day... we will of course wake up and have breakfast with the guests who stayed in the morning, and our venue has a heated pool so we can make use of that too, but then it's kind like "what's next???" after that. Don't want it to be an anti-climax and just go back home back to reality!!

I can't decide what to do with my diesel and Ozzie .. Even time I see them I want them there but I know it would be chaos but like you Flossie everyone is going to be at the wedding .. My aunty and uncle mentioned their friends would probably be happy to look after one .. Which would probably be diesel because he's not as loopy which leaves us stuck and I'd feel awful not seeing them at all on our special day because they mean so much to us! I'd love them in some photos and the downstairs rooms in our venue are dog friendly so I didn't know whether to juSt pay for a room downstairs for them so we could pop in and see them every now and then .. Mums arsey about it saying she doesn't want to supervise them but if they're in a room I can't see there being a problem then in the break between the the breakfast and evening meal I need to persuade / manipulate my mum to agree!

Hello everyone I see that you are all getting on great with your wedding plans! My wedding is 14 months away now, i feel that i have planned things too quickly as i dont really have a lot left to organise, we know exactly what we want which is probably a good thing I suppose.

    So far we have:

    Venue-deposit paid
    dj/disco-booked
    cars- paid in full
    picked suits for hire
    registrar-deposit paid
    wedding dress- paid in full
    centrepieces/invitations/placecards/seat covers - deposit paid

seen a lot of bridesmaid dresses but 2 of my bridesmaids are pregnant so will have to wait to buy those. I am also looking at artificial flowers for the bouquets, just need to find the right price. Got smaller items such as wedding album, guest book, postbox, bunting and sweet jars. Just really need to save the money up and get it all paid off :) x

Every little helps, plus diamond earrings - big win!

The earrings I ordered for the girls arrived yesterday and I am so disappointed with them. I know they were cheap as chips and I never expected them to be anything special, expected cheap material etc, but they were awful! They have what I presume is glue all over the "pearls" and the diamantes and all over the backs of them, would never be able to give those to the girls to wear on my wedding day!!! Am sending back to the seller for a refund. Will have to find them something else now xx
