I studied nursing, you? I am good guess lol. They are called the c0ll3ct1v3s, we watched videos of them but didn't get the chance to get back to watch them and their management kind of pushed us into a decision saying they had 2 other weddings waiting for our date so we booked. Then my daddy went to see them and wasn't very impressed, my friend also said they weren't great at a wedding she went too, I'm not sure what to do. xx

Lol so did I....mental health. What year did u qualify? Aw I'm so jealous. Love the Ga1gorm. Been there a few times we did price it for wedding but was out of our price range :( oh no did u pay a big deposit on band? If I were u I'd go see them play then decide. I think band is such a big part of the day. I've never heard of them. We are having our reception in An Gr1anan if u can make that out lol

I did adult nursing, 2008, you? :) I came to England to do my midwifery, met Ben and have never gone home lol. We are having the smallest of the suites due to price to be honest. The ga1gorm paid the deposit as we had to take a package wedding with them with it being new years eve, though to be honest they've been so flexible. We didn't like their photographer so we got our own. Awk yes its lovely there too. Have you got your band booked?

I started when u finished then I finished in 2011. They paid your deposit?? That's fab. That was our problem we had too many people. If we had less I'd def have considered there. I do love An Gr1anan though and it's handier for our guests. We are having a band called Superst1t1on they are very good. We have all big things sorted now. Next on list is order bridesmaids dresses, book flowers and order rings. Hoping to get all that done soon! Have you got your dress yet?
That's not good Leanne, hope you get it sorted with the band. We booked our band the other week aswell, and we have only heard good things about them so far (fingers crossed). x

Leanne have you looked at the website f0rh3r@ndf0rh1m? They are China dresses but they have such a huge range all fairly priced and I have heard good reviews about them. Maybe what you're looking for is on there.
I myself ordered 2 of my bridesmaid dresses from a Chinese seller on the bay and the quality is fab, really pleased with them and they were only £35 each! Just do your research before you purchase and all should be ok xx

Flossie F0rherandf0rh1m dresses are beautiful. I've seen a few I like there but think I'm gonna go for the m00ns0n dresses. Leanne there is a stockist in Omagh stocks the f0rherandf0rh1m dresses. They are very good quality I've been in and tried a few on

Hello, welcome and congratulations Leanne!
Oh ladies... please help me! We haven't actually booked a venue yet because I can't decide between a summer or NYE wedding. In my heart I want NYE. It's much more difficult to arrange though. I do love the idea of getting married outside though and we have found some lovely venues that are licensed for outdoor ceremonies. One offers a 'summer fete' theme where you have food stalls and games instead of a sit down meal which would be amazing. Arrrggghhh!

I love the idea of a NYE wedding but the price tag alone would probably put me off lol. You would have to be prepared to pay a lot more for suppliers due to the date and I also expect a lot of suppliers will get booked up very quickly.

Hmmm personally I wouldn't want a NYE wedding, I love NYE but wouldn't want to have everyone's plans set for them for the night. I know a lot of people don't do much for NYE now but I don't think the extra cost is worth it.
An outdoor wedding sounds lovely and so do the food stalls. I'm now obsessed with hiring a pizza van for our evening food but not sure the venue will allow it :( xx

Mmmm cake is the best part Natalie! Just been looking at suit options for OH and our dads. Starting to annoy me now cos I just want everything bought and over and done with. I think I've finally reached the point where I don't have the patience to look any more. 12 days till the 7 month mark *sigh* xx

LadyC we are having a new years eve wedding 2016. So far the only thing that has cost us more is the band (which I am not even sure we like now lol) We liked the idea of starting a fresh new year as husband and wife, although the cold nearly put me off. My best friend is getting married in June 2016 so it I wanted to give a bit of space from hers aswell, so its worked out quite well for us.
Thank you for the suggestions girls, I will have a look at that wedsite.
Glad all your planning is going well Sarah :)
Danielle what a small world :) Alot of Ben's family in England are a bit older and the traveling is too much for them so the smaller room that holds 116 in the day and 160 at night was perfect for us.
Thank you all for making me feel so welcome xxx

Natalie cake testing was def the best part of planning so far the only problem was I couldn't decide on flavours so chose them all lol!! Enjoy
Sam we had planned on sorting suits next month but we have spoke to a few places who have told us to leave it until January as there will be new stuff out and we will still have time then
Leanne it is indeed a small world lol that's still a big wedding you are having. Have u much else done?

We both have big family's, having to have the smaller suite forced us to keep numbers down, we think we will end up with 100 adults and 12 children, so its big enough. We've got all the big things booked now (except the cars). We got the band to send us some more videos tonight and we are happy enough with them, my friend and my dad have kind of backed tracked a little saying that they are just not their taste but they aren't rubbish, so I feel a bit better about it. We are home in Oct for my cousins wedding so going to go and watch them, fingers crossed we still like them or we have to pay 50% of their fee to cancel. Just sent the save the date to the printers this evening, excited to get them :)
What are you organising atm?

Took a good few hours to decide! Just wanted to get it out of the way because we have to write our song choices and also give copies of the readings to the registrar when we return our ceremony booklet. Not sure why, think its just to check there's no religious content! xx
CommentAuthorNatalieS200
Thanks Sarah.
Leanne if you click on the persons name of the album you want to view another page comes up and theres a link where you can view pictures. Ive been looking for my dress since early august and finally decided last weekend on the dress I wanted, it was from the first shop I looked in :) I get married next may but I think its never to early to look for your dress though so go for it :) xx
CommentAuthorNatalieS200
Thats good sam, what have you picked? Yeah its so they can check what the contents like and that theres nothing religious included in it. Our booklet contained a few readings if we'd like any of them read but I havent looked at them yet or we can pick our own. Not to sure yet on who'll do a reading, we were thinking one of OHs side so they'd be included more in the ceremony but not sure who yet xx
CommentAuthorSam G 2b May 2016
Our readings will be done by our mums, as my dad is walking me down the aisle and OH's dad is his best man so then all parents are involved. My mum is going to write a poem so we can't send off the booklet until she has done that.
Our songs are a piano & cello version of A Thousand Years for the entrance, How Long Will I Love you - Ellie Goulding for the register signing (and Wings- Birdy if we need a second song) and then to exit we're having I'm a Believer (the end version from Shrek that Donkey sings) lol xx

Exciting ladies!
We're going to be 200 days on Monday. And I still feel like we have loads left to do. Still need to: Book suits (OH has chosen but needs to book) Sort flowers (waiting on a quote from the florist) Sort transport (I couldn't care less what it is provided it doesn't break down on the way) Sort rings (beautiful but annoyingly shaoed engagement ring is making this tricky) Sort hair stylist (waiting for quote) Find 7 more sturdy vase for centrepieces
Do you still have anything big to sort? X
