As long as it gets here I don't really mind who delivers it haha, was just expecting H3rm3s as that's what they stated in the delivery options so confused me for a second! Unless I've forgotten something major I really don't think I am expecting anything else though, and the seller did estimate that I would receive it today so it must be that.

Yeah we will be making a list Louise. Most photographers will ask for a list to ensure you get all the pics you want with all the family/guests you want and to make it easier on the day xx

My dad is a photographer and always asks for a list, that way he can shout the people he wants when he wants them which makes it a lot easier and less time consuming.

Just ordered these for OH, he will love them :) don't know whether to give them to him before the wedding though as he won't be a groom if he uses them after lol

We have got dates held for us so going to pay off the deposits in September for venue videographers photographer getting our invitations going wedding dress shopping getting my flower girls dress.hoping OH and best man and page boy will go and try suits all in September.
Paying the registrar this friday
Looks like September will be my month to get everything under control I hope lol

OH and I both have a week off next week so we're going to look at some wedding bits. We're going to go out and look at centre piece ideas and hopefully get that nailed and I want to agree on some things to order like a guest book, gifts, etc. I will probably make the personalised hangers also so that will be one more thing out the way, done and dusted.

Might sit down and finalise our invitation designs as well so all that will need doing is printing them and making them.

I've had the bridesmaids dresses for ages now, will just need to get the alterations made nearer the time xx

Think I'm def gonna go with the dresses. £119 each which is pretty good! I need to wait a while to order one as one bridesmaid has been trying to get pregnant quite a while so she could be pregnant so will have to wait another while to get a better idea of size

Ooh I love the diamond one Danielle, but I am a lover of anything sparkly! I agree with Flossie though i know which one I wanted as soon as I saw it but if you're not getting that feeling maybe have another look xx

I think a diamond band would definitely look better on it's own, but I am biased!

They are pricey but there are bargains to be had. Mine was originally £550 but I got it during a sale and saved almost £100 on it. Still pretty pricey I suppose but for something you're going to be wearing for the rest of your life I'd say it's worth it! It's important to have what you want and not just settle for something because it's cheap xx

We went to the kilt ship yesterday h2b picked his tartan and he tried on jackets and we got a price for the whole outfit not as bad as we expected £800 for everything and I got a price from the hair dresser why sister picked, she is a hair dresser to so I trust her to choose and it's a girl she works with, she's the salons senior stylist and has offered to do our hair for £20 each xx

That sounds so good with the hair Sarah d and the kilts.

So I spoke to OH about his sisters little one being a flower girl and he said not really because we r not having a big bridal party so just to leave it the way it is. Makes me feel a little better but we have asked his sister to do a reading at the service for us just to get some of his family involved.
Defo feeling better about that.

Love that suitcase Flossie. My friend did that for her wedding and it looks great. I'd of had something similar but didnt want to copy her, our venue does different postboxes to hire so we're going with a white wishing well one, £25 to hire for the night.

Going to have a bit of a rant here but need to get it off my chest and annoy someone else other than OH about it lol!

The girls are really peeing me off at the moment. The 5 of us are in a group Wh@ts@pp conversation together and we probably speak pretty much every day (they are all my bridesmaids). I said before, but 2 of them seem to have an issue with one of the others and I have no idea why. They say some quite mean things about her to me behind her back for no apparent reason and whenever she says something in the chat (which isn't very often) she just gets totally blanked by them. She popped up in the chat last night after quite a while and she has just come back from holiday, so I made a point of asking her did she enjoy her holiday etc. then we were chatting about dance, which is something we all have in common so the others could have joined in... but the others did not say anything at all! And they were active because they had said something to each other literally 2 mins before.

We have been all close friends since college as we all did dance together. I've no idea what has made these 2 act like this but it's really starting to grind on me. Surely it's not too much to ask for everyone to get on and to make the effort, especially when I am in smack bang in the middle of planning my wedding.

I think when they say things about her they expect me to join in or find it amusing.. but I asked her to be a bridesmaid for a reason, because she is a close friend and I value her friendship. If I felt badly about her I wouldn't have asked her to be my bridesmaid! I'd like for all of them to be equally involved in the day and have a fab time too, really don't want my friend to feel awkward around the others and have it affect her day and this whole bridesmaid experience :(

I want to say something to the other 2 but I don't know how.. if they carry on I might just snap and end up saying something to them purely cos I've just had enough of it!

The other day one of them told me she was watching S@y y3s to the dr3ss the bridesmaids version and there was one bridesmaid who was being really difficult and didn't like any of the dresses. She said if we did that then that awkward one would be Char.... which is so unfair! The only dress issues we had with her was her saying she wants to wear a proper bra and she was concerned they might be see through so suggested they may need petticoats. Apart from that she's not said one bad word about the dress at all!

Obviously my hen is just with those 4 as well so I really don't want that to be awkward for anyone either. At the moment I'm just trying to make it clear I am not going to participate in the bitching and hope that they get the message. It's just so petty, they're meant to be adults! And like you say I'd hope they would put any personal feelings aside just to make it easier for me!

The other bridesmaid on the other hand has been an absolute gem. I'm texting her now talking about everything telling her I am really fed up of her being excluded by the other 2 for no apparent reason. She said whatever happens she is going to do all she can to make sure I have a wonderful day. Which I thought was really cute! xx
