    hi all i am partly sighted so excuse spelling just wondering wat your thoughts of a bride making a speech is my mom my dad wont be at the wedding neither will hubbys so i thought about making a speech my self his parents are dead and mine are a waste of space

    I agree, I think I want to say a little thank you at my wedding, it doesn't hurt, plus my friend did when she got married and all 4 parents were there - they also had 2 best men doing speeches as well xx

    In the early days I was planning on making a speech as I wanted to say my own personal thank yous etc, however closer to the time I changed my mind as really there was nothing extra I wanted to say that my hubby, dad and best man wouldn't have already covered. If you do want to make a speech though, definitely go for it x
