I'm sure I saw something about them but I can't find the thread - if someone can bump it for me then that would be great.

Anyone I am trying to think of creative ways to ask my girls to be my bridesmaid as other b2b have advised me to ask as soon as possible if we do go abroad. I thought a survival kit would be a cool idea to ask them (my sister already knows but she will get one too).

Any other ideas though? I want something unsual; ideally sea themed :D

I think it includes pain killer, plasters, tissues, lip gloss and safety pin from memory!

Maybe you could use a pretty little beach bag to put the above items in to fit in with your beach theme? Depending on your budget, you could add a pair of flip flops with 'Be my Bridesmaid' decorated on? or get it printed on a beach towel?! Alternatively, how about a message in a bottle (is that beach themed?! haha) The ideas are endless! xx

How about some blue bath salts or 'Aqua' scented body spray or hand cream? Maybe a blue pair of flip flops or something? That would go with the beach idea and something they can use? Starfish or fish earrings? You can usually get things like that reasonably priced from places like Accessories of Claire's or Arg*s.

Getting a bit carried away here, but you could maybe get blue flip flops and paint on 'will you be my bridesmaid?'...

I wish I came up with a creative way, but i just asked them face to face. you could put a little poem in a box asking them, go round to their house, excuse yourself to go to the toilet and leave it on their bed so they'll find it that evening and it'd be a little surprise? x
