ive only just told my 2 sisters that they can be bridemaids. my friend is also a bridemaid.
i inform my sisters that we will all have spray tans, nails and hair done so we will all look similar in the photographs with regards to spray tan colour. But they have both said that under no circumstances will they be getting spray tans!!!!
my problem is me and my friend will be cos we are whiter than white. but if the other 2 wont then picures will look ridiculous. you cant have 2 people brown and 2 people white.
what will i do?

Im whiter then white myself but im not getting a tan because my sister did and it came off on her dress :-(
But i wouldnt make my bms get a tan if they didnt want too, your basically saying there not good enough to be in your photos unless they look brown, we live in england hardly anyones brown anyway. As for photo's unless you go REALLY brown no ones gonna notice babe, i mean is your h2b, best man and parents getting fake tans too? If you and your friend want a tan fine but you cant make someone get one if they dont want one, get them to wear a dress they dont like, yes, its your day but something that lasts longer then the day, no, im afraid, its there bodies, sorry.
But thats just my opinon lol and dont mean to sound harsh

I agree with Hails caza sorry. I dont thinking making bms have a spray tan is a good idea. And with regards to u sayin u cant have 2 people tanned and 2 people white? Well i believe u can.... im white and my partner is malyasian so hes far more tanned than me!
What about gettin ur spray tan done in a more holiday sun colour so that u dont go totally dark - that way if u dont want much of a difference u wudnt notice it as much x

I don't see why people can't be whatever colour they want to be?! You presumably wouldn't be saying this if one of your bridesmaids was black?

I don't think you can force your bm's tp have a spray tan if they don't want to it's their body at the end of the day!! I didn't get a spray tan for my brothers wedding although I was using sunbeds and had a natural colour his wife had St Tropez done and I still looked browner but none of the other bridesmaids had anything done and it didn't look stupid. Everyone isn't supposed to look the same you have all different size, shapes and colour tones. Thats like telling one of your bm's to loose or gain a few pounds so you are all the same size or else it will look stupid but it won't everyone is made different and it makes things more interesting.xx
I also agree with Hails. I'm really white but I look silly with spray tan as it doesn't work on me very well.
The last thing you need is it coming off on your dresses!!!! You can't really force them to do so!! xx

unless your planning on going so brown you look a different race, you actually wont look that different. Tas are supposed to be suttle and compliment your natural skin tones, otherwise you will look weird! To be honest, I dont think you can force someone to have a spray tan.
