This might sound a bit odd but i'm really unsure about what underwear to get to go under my dress on the day lol i have a ball gown/princess dress in champagne thats strapless, so that limits me to either strapless bra or corset; corset i think would be too tight under the dress-but my MOH says to get spanx because it would give me a nice shape, but its not very nice looking! any suggestions?

I'm only wearing undies as I don't want to have to worry about pulling and sorting a bra or corset around my dress. My MoH asked me if I was wearing stockings... I wasn't going to since no one will see them but she's made me wonder if I should lol x

Boux Avenue actually look like one of the best places to get bridal wear from , especially the dressing gown with Mrs on the back XD so i should prob be alright in strapless bra then i think?

it depends on shape of your dress also some go further down at the back to where your bra would sit.. if it would sit higher than not a problem.. u can get backless strapleas ones either sticky cups or sticky wings bt not sure how good they be after a long day in a dress! im hoping a strapless bra will work for me bt will have to see :-/ 2 kids have made my boobs disapear slightly and my dress is rather thin chiffon so hasnt a great deal of supprt etc like a corset style wouls lol x

I would love the bride dressing gown but can't justify paying £40 :( the strapless bra works ok for me, but then the assistant in the bridal shop said they could build cups into the dress so I'm not sure whether to try that or not :/ x

I don't know if i would trust just cups built into a dress or not just in case but thats just me :) just checked out fig leaves and they seem to have a really nice bridal selection for not bad prices including a champagne strapless bra which actually looks fairly decent! although my dress is a corset style its also quite thin chiffony material too so a little something extra is needed i think. My MOH also recommended getting a full body slip to stop the issue of rising misplaced undies but i think trying to negotiate a big dress and a body suit at toilet time is not going to go well lol

I'm not sure on the cups either, don't want to pay extra as well when I already have a nice bra x

Remember the underwear under your dress is not meant to be sexy but to shape you, the sexy is what you change into later after the wedding if you still have the energy

Most newly wed couples don't even consumate their marriage on their wedding night! You will most likely be so exhausted that you just won't have the energy! I say just wear whatever you feel most comfortable in :) you don't want to wear sexy underwear that will leave you feeling really uncomfortable for the whole day x

I agree MrsP! especially if a dress is lace up at the back and your strapped in all day, I couldnt think of anything worse than struggling out of a dress then int more underwear haha x

I have a strapless bra and they are tacking it into my dress so that it should stay in place and not appear at the top! I couldn't bear the thought of not having a bra at all, I wouldn't trust it!
Most big companies do a bridal range.

i am not wearing a bra under my corset dress as it hold me in well enough. I was also advised not to wear a bra by my lady at the bridal boutique. This is coming from someone who has big boobs aswell lol so was worried at first but it looks fine and holds me in well enough x

I didn't wear a bra with my first dress as I didn't need one; I wore a strapless one from D-hams with my second dress (changed into it around midnight). I then wore a really tacky th0ng from a company called H@nky P@nky; it was blue lace with 'I do' on it in Sw@r0vsk1 crystals.

I wasn't too fussed about what I wore as I knew we wouldn't 'get up to anything' on the night; and I was right lol, we were the last up to bed, staying up drinking until 6am :-s

I say don't bother with something that nice for wedding night... If he is anything like my DH was he would be asleep before you've even got out the dress! (It did take me 30 mins though) I spent £75 on a bask and stockings etc so thinking about doing a boudoir photo shoot to make use of them ;) x

I didn't bother with anything except sexy Knicks, my dress was a corset so I didn't see the point in spending more money when I was already getting full support from my dress... Plus saved time for hubs not having to fiddle with it ;)
